In the end, the downfall of the Philippines as an excellent monger destination will be thrown at the feet of cheap charlies. They consider it fun and they get to go shopping, go out to eat or the movies and taken care of with small amounts of cash to help them out. A true GFE experience, and that goes both ways. The guy should take good care of the Filipina when they spend time together, but there are exceptions. Pay for play pros.

I have been with GRO's and short-time Filipinas from Mango that promise a lot and are super fun in the bar, Once barfined and in the room they change. They turn into cold fish and all things previously discussed and deemed OK are suddenly off the table or not available. I have kicked Filipinas out of my room for this with zero tip. I make it clear tip is based on service level. These types of pros are good at twisting a foreigner into opening his wallet just to get her out of the room. About half of them are ex-GRO's that got tired of the bar scene, the rest are students. They go with rich Asian clients and select Westerners in town on holiday. The guys pay the bakla a daily rate and everyone is happy. Usually they spoil the Filipinas with a lot of shopping and gifts plus a nice tip when they leave. These girls are worth it though. Tall, thin and very beautiful. A lot of them previously spent time exclusively with Western guys but have found better pay for less work. No more cheap charlie syndrome.

It is wrong to equate regular work (sales girl; maid; factory worker on 300 php per day) with a perceived "job" of giving up their body for the same amount.

It is not a "job" for a regular girl on a GFE outing.

I will continue to give 2000 php as a base rate, and I don't care what anyone else says.

I guess everyone has different ideas about what is fair payment, underpayment etc. As I said in a previous post I normally pay a girl 2000 for an overnight stay but I tend to target non pros on the whole. I also (as WR pointed out) cover their fares, provide a nice dinner in the evening if required, maybe see a movie, drinks refreshments and a good breakfast at my hotel in the morning. Just as I want to have a real GFE experience with the girl I spend time with, I also try to ensure they have a BFE and that they are treated well and with respect. My approach always ensures plenty of repeat business and introductions to cousins, neighbours and friends.
