If a newbie don't get the proper knowledge or worse yet not listen to a fellow monger that's already been down the same path hes going that's just a recipe for disaster in Sosua. Ooh well "Jerry" or Gogos "J" has provided some great tragedy/comic relief in both reports.

Hell I had my cup of Joe in my hand reading the reports like a tragic novel.

So, not as many chicas around, but still enough for anyone, with some real young knockouts. I saw more 10's on this trip than I've seen before down there. It was quieter than usual around N.G. and Terra Linda, quiet around town during the day, with the bars only filling up at the weekends.

First night at the bar a newbie got cornered by the resident/leech/stalker/drama queen and seemed to be enjoying the attention. When they passed our table, she stopped to say hello, because we know most of the locals and it doesn't hurt to say hello after you've seen tham a hundered times. He asked if they could join us, and we said sure. He told me he'd just arrived and was enjoying the scene. Said he'd travelled extensively and done a lot of research before choosing Sosua. I wasn't sure, judging by the hand holding already, but what the hey! I wasn't abouit to tell this particular guy how to spend his time and his money.

Eventually, we moved on to the next bar (with them in tow) and after a while they got into a big argument. She made the cutthroat sign and stormed off. I asked what's wrong. He was really pissed. Turns out he got insulted because she asked him for money for milk for bambina. Really! He'd picked the ***** of *****s (or she picked him) and he was surprised she asked him for money? What the hell did he think all this hand holding and kissing shit an hour off the plane was all about?

He said that was enough for him that night and went back to the hotel (Casa Marina). Tried to give him a pep talk but he said he thought the chica was our friend so she'd be OK. Damn! it was almost like he was accusing us of setting him up.

Next morning at breakfast he had another tale of woe, seems he went out for coffee early and got into a tugging match with chica who tried to lift his wallet, coffee thrown, pants pocket torn. He said he had had enough of Sosua and wasn't leaving the hotel.

Optimistic me says, look at all the beautiful chicas they're all out there for you and they aren't all bad. He did go out once more and got ripped off for forty dollars, Didn't ask him how, because it was becoming obvious.

His problem was that he acted like he knew it all and wasn't about to take advice from anybody. Never before have I ever seen that combination of cockiness on the one hand and on the other not having a clue as to what is really going on around him. Naive is hardly the word, but the guy was clearly out of his depth, and I did feel a little sorry for him.

He stuck around the hotel for the rest of the week waiting to home.

After reading your post I have a serious bit of advice for you. Please consider the company that you are keeping because problems of others can sometimes take on a life of their own and consume you.


Just a bit of advice and it's great that you had a good time and I am sure you are laughing at dude on the inside and his problems and misfortune were the underlying joke of your trip.

There are always some hard headed know it all people. Generally in mongering it is better to do your own thing. Many will not take your advice.
However this guy may or may not be telling you the real truth.

Fair enough that you don't outright tell the guy that he's holding hands with the resident skankie drama queen. That would probably get you no end of trouble for sticking your nose in her business. But if she was that bad I would find some excuse so that she is not hanging onto your coatails when you go out. In a sense she was using your rep to legitimize herself.

I do feel for the guy who had all the troubles even if they are of his own making. It's those guys who should be pointed in the direction of Passions - they will most likely have a good time and won't get into trouble.

Just curious.

To those who are still curious what I did with that girl from La Passion, I kicked her out in the morning after she asked "por que no sexo?" at 9:00 AM knowing full well that she intended to be back at work by 10 AM. What a stupid woman who not only turned me off her but also off the entire establishment.

Yep Coolie, that's the guy.

You know I would never uses a real mongers name on this board. Funny thing is, his real name is XXXX, (4 letters) but from the get go I got it wrong and kept calling him Jerry, which he kept correcting me all week, so no harm done.

Some here chastise me for not doing more for the guy, but I did spend a lot of my time over coffee every morning, giving him the lay of the land including La Passion etc, but he just didn't want to pay for it.

Others have said I should have avoided him, but I genuinely didn't want to see him waste a weeks vacation.

My take is he saw me with my regular and the locals having a great time that first night, including some free shots sent over by the house, and wanted to hang with us. i think he figured he could just drop in and do the same shit, without going through my 2 years of investment to get to this point with my regular and her friends and family.

I didn't need his drama (3 rip offs in 3 days) so we never took him out with us again and made sure we sat at a table for two for breakfast. We did have coffee together though before my chica showed up, where I tried my best with him.

As for me, the two weeks, aside from the heat, was paradise. The only thing I could have added, is a couple rounds with one or two of those hot young chicas I saw that literally took my breath away.

But Princessa just laughed and said, maybe on my birthday :)

Any report from the Mens Club located down past Sea Cretes and before Passions.

We were there a couple of weeks ago when it first opened and attended their pool party and had a blast.

I hope it continues.
