The casas are set on their prices as they also pay the girls, I was there for only two days so for few pesos more or less I won't ruin the vacation. In zona colonial you can find cheaper but less quality. The best option with time is to meet non pros either on internet or the city itself but time is the key word.

If you don't want aventure and just want a relaxing holiday within one site with all the girls laid on for you at a fair price, then go to Blackbeards (loads of reports in the Puerto Plata section). If you like to get out and about a bit and find your own chicas, you might also consider Field of Dreams (also in Puerto Plata).

I planned a trip end of January 28th to February 2nd, flying from MSY, where I have to be for a conference. I am a SoCal dude. 40.

Santo Domingo would be the first time. I have been already twice in Santiago and Sosua. Want a change.

I had enough work and stress and need some 4-5 days of relax and chicas. I speak a little bit spanish (to get around) and I had no problems communicating / banging / approaching chicas.

I read very careful the thread and I will be looking to stay at Hotel Palacio, even if the web is showing a $95 / night fee. Hopefully is chicas friendly. There are cameras throughout the hotel, including for the pool (get frisky in the pool, but be aware that someone is probably watching you). The building was originally built as a residence, each room is different in the hotel palacio. If you don't like the room they give you, ask to see another room. The rooms fronting the main courtyard (where the elevators can be used) seem better. The plastic room key card they give, just flash it near the room door lock mechanism, no inserting. There is a small box in each room, where you insert the room key, to turn on the Air Conditioning. Some bathrooms have motion detectors to turn the lights on.
