Europa Bar didn't use to charge any entrance fee, just a minimum consumption. Quite expensive beer, 33 ml.

I like sitting next to the Europa bar in the Reggae-bar. They have cheap 600 ml beer, decent food and good music. Great scenery seeing the GP's arriving all dressed up and the streetkids pickpocketing the gringos.

After a couple of beer moving on to Europa Bar. I think Europa Bar is better than the Bikini bar (on top of Europa) as you have good contact with the girls passing by on the outside.

yes, watching the crowds passing this reggae-bar is fun! but three days in a row and you will see many familiar faces, girls as well as gringos. the scene is not really big there.
good thing about europa bar are all the big open windows. just stand outside and peek in. i entered bikini bar maybe twice, but it was dead. in the end everyone goes to cafe del mar which was packed every night (15 r$ fee, but they will give you a stamp so you can re-enter).

Not only they will charge the entrance fee but they will also add a 10% service charge even if you get your beer from the bar and on top of that another 10% on the entrance fee. Yeap they charge service on the entrance.

Check your bill next time. Out of principle I always refuse to pay that.
