Last night, Saturday, I decided upon a trip to La Folie. I have not been there in about 4 years and was curious if it would live up to my memories.

I arrived at 21:00 and, well, the place was pretty much empty. About 7-8 guys, looked like regulars, and maybe 3 women were there. But I decided to stay and see what developed.

Between 21:00 and 22:00 a few more women trickled in well as a few more men. But I think that the men still out numbered the women. At some point I was joined by Zarah, a mildly cute but older (28-30 yo I would guess) Polish woman. We cahtted for a while and she told me that Saturday was generally slow here at La Folie. Eventually she tried to push the chat towards a room but I was not so interested in her and she politely left me alone.

By shortly after 22:00 the ratio had improved a bit but was still a bit on the more men than women side. A couple of the women were Ok but nobody really stunning to me.

Well this is not quite true. There was one lady sitting at the bar fully, more or less, clothed. Turns out she is a dancer and does not go to the room, Too bad, she was stunning as I saw when she danced.

At about 23:00 I decided to get out of there before my judgement fell away. Glad I did as when I was dressing a whole group of very drunk English guys arrived. It might have been fun to sit and watch what went down in the next hour but I had other plans in mind.

I have seen the web site of Le Chateau many times and there seems to be some nice looking women there. I was not sure of the address but I did remember the street and it is not far from La Folie.

It was in fact easy to find and I was rung in to a small dark bar with lots of red velvet and a dancing pole. The ratio here was a bit better, 3 women to 1 man (when I arrived, there were then two men) but the women were not so great. I would rate them at a 5, one of them maybe a 6. Not much like the web site shows.

But what the hell, I stayed and ordered a beer. I was immediately set upon by the ugliest of the three to buy a bottle of 110 euro champagne. No way I said and the atmosphere cooled considerably.

Just then another two guys arrived and two of the ladies jumped upon them. The third lady (Lara I think and the one who I might rate as a 6) stayed with me and we chatted for another few minutes.

Now I have to admit that if Lara had played here cards right she probably would have found a customer. However, after our polite chat the subject of a 100 euro bottle of champagne quickly came up again. I steered the conversation away by asking her for a little run down on her rates, nicely of course. I was rebuffed by being told that after I bought the champagne, then I was worthy to know her rates.

I hate being hustled and yes it has happened more than once in my days of pooning.

Anyway, at this point my beer goggles thankfully cleared, I drained my beer and asked for the bill. 10 euros for a bottle of Becks even though it says 6 on the card. When I queried this I was told that the first beer is 10 euros. Whatever, I was out of there fast, no tip.

All in all I guess they did me a favor with the hard sell on the champagne. I arrived home at 00:30 with cash in the pocket and no regrets.

I will probably give La Folie another go some night, just not on a Saturday. But Le Chateau is off my list for good and I would highly recommend anyone else staying away from this club. It is, IMO, a rip-off club.

Angus-glad that I read your report about Chateau. Thanks to you and the fact that I respect your insight and opinions, I have deleted Chateau from my 'to do' list. Nothing worse than being pressured to but overpriced champagne, especially in Germany where this BS is not required. It's reports like this which make these forums worthwhile.

It's clearly marked on the menu, but you didn't ask the price, and have to pay.

Going to be staying off the Ku'Damm in Charlottenburg area. Out playing/mongering next Wed. Evening. Attending a big party on Thursday and some play after that. I was young and stupid. What can I say.

I entered a bar near Stuttgarter Platz in Berlin (actually not far from La Folie) years ago, saw a couple of women strip. At the end of the show, one of them comes to me and sits beside me.

The whole scenario in Paris starts to play in my mind. If she had gone into a strong upsell mode, I would have walked out.

All I can answer to this is the same reason I sometimes wander the streets with the foolish hope that I will come across an elusive "gem". Don't get me wrong, FKK's are great but there is some part of me that likes to find a nice (hot/friendly/cooperative) girl in a place one would not expect i.e. Le Chateau. I am just glad that I have the experience to see a coming scam and escape with little damage.

I can not help you too much as I do not know the escort side of VK's business.But I do understand that not all the girls who work a VK are available for escort. I also have to mention that Top Escort (The name under which VK operates for escort) is way overpriced IMO. That is you can find nice girls for way less for take out in Berlin.
