HW[/QUOTE]A little about the life and psyche of provincial Filipinas including the ones that come to the cities. The following is my opinion from experience and does not apply to well educated, middle or upper class Filipinas. Lots of generalisations of course and every girl is different:

- many Filipinas come from large extended families so kids are always around.

- not a lot of Filipinas get to finish high school because of the cost clothes, books, etc so filipinas are often less mature than their western counterparts.

- there was a sex education act passed in 2005 but not a lot of schools teach it.

- as there is not much work, Filipinas hang around bored with nothing to do so playing with the boys is natural as a result, there are a lot of single mothers.

- Filipino boys are sweet talkers, romantic and like the love songs which Filipinas also love.

- having a half-half baby with blue eyes is very desireable to Filipinas.

- have a rich foreigner to look after the girl, the baby and the whole family is high desirable. The girl and the baby is fine, but the whole family is not my responsibility and surely you will have this argument sooner or later.

- Single mother Filipinas are very resiliant and seem to struggle thru what we could only consider very very tough times.

- Filipinas are devoted to their families.

- Filipinas like older guys I. E. 20 years older because they think we are more mature and stable. (I think I was more mature when I was in my 20's and 30's, now I don't take life so seriously. After an expensive divorce and child support payments I am probably less stable but thats our secret, right!).

My advice is don't rely on the girl to make decisions about protection. Decide for yourself and just tell her.

In Phi poor families do not care. Rich and respectable families do.
