Apparently, there are Tea Houses, a concept that's specific to Taiwan I believe, KTVs, Hostess Bars, Massage Parlors, and Street Walker (FL) types.

I don't normally dabble in this area. I'll be attempting to do so for the first time in Thailand. I was visiting a girl in one of those hotel rooms today, and afterwards, as I left the room, I saw police knocking on the room right next door, asking for ID & passport.

If I had left just one minute later, they would have been knocking on my room! I count my blessings.

Anyone know what happens to non-Taiwanese citizens who get caught in one of these situations? I am wondering what my penalty (and the girls penalty) would have been. Deportation?

I have never been involved in an all-out raid in Taiwan, but I have been, unfortunately, in The States, where it was very aggressive with many cops. The laws there are much tougher and tighter. In a massage shop, practicing massage without a license is a tougher crime than payment for a sexual service.

From what I see in Taiwan, they don't care about people hooking up, but they do care about illegal aliens and expired visas. I have seen girls taken away for that violation, and I am sure that if a customer was in violation of a legal presence in Taiwan, he would be run through the system.

Because, a knock on a locked door by the law, leaves both client and provider time to dress, and what they were doing, although obviously inferred, would probably fail the evidence test, anyway. I mean, you could have been getting a massage, or being counseled, playing cards. Listening to music. Unless there was a camera, but then again, if they wanted to stop the profession, they would blockade known red light districts, and they never do.

Certainly, any kind of confrontation with a police person is unnerving, and running your documentation is especially upsetting, but they are not out to get you. I always walk amidst uniformed police in known areas, and they are just doing their job of watching the area, and checking documentation of foreign ladies.

For some reason a highly educated man, and also a usually very peaceful and spiritual man, never partaking in mongering activities, felt that on many occasions, he was disrespected here. In actuality, he wasn't, but just could not adjust to the flow of life here. Had trouble on a deep level, acclimating to the deeper Asian sentiments, and the stark differences between eastern and western communication. He just embraced his western value system fervently with a self-righteous attitude.

He had a number of incidents and he had a 60's hippie mentality of not backing down, and fighting for his rights. He seemed to always be in a grievance. If he held it in and didn't complain, he was given to rather frequent outbursts of anger.

Anyway, long story short, he did assault somebody on camera. He was deported within 24 hours. Not even a trial, but caught on video. Ant****ial behavior like touching a civilian without consent in any way is entirely frowned upon here. Taiwan is a very peaceful and safe society, and violence and molestation are considered despicable, and rightly so.

But, peacefully paying, and being on your way for a biological need, seems to be a sort of overlooked necessary evil, that in many ways greatly reduces illegal sexual harassment in society, thus allowed, but monitored.

Illegal status, being on the lam, criminality, a bad record are what the authorities are looking for.

I even know of a guy in Taiwan who was on camera stealing from a convenience store and outrunning everybody until he was caught. To his pleasant surprise, he was treated extremely lenient, fairly, and compassionately. And, after a brief, minor legal process, with almost no interruption in his job or life, returned to normalcy, paying a small fine and an receiving an admonition.

But, as far as a record and report of incident, I can't see that ever "NOT" being permanently attached to one's record, even if not guilty and no fine was imposed. That is just the proper way of maintaining a history. It must at least be recorded as a footnote.

In the world we live in, and especially in Taiwan, every movement is recorded. We just take risks in this thing that we do. That is just the way it is. Fortunately, getting laid is not an egregious, unforgivable offense. Nobody was hurt or harmed in our exchange. Money was contributed to the economy. Hey, for all we know, even the act itself, behind closed doors is quite possibly recorded by somebody, for some purpose.

There is never a moment when I travel in and around the "known hot spots," and eye the ladies, that I am not fully aware to be on my best behavior and appear gentlemanly, because a "movie-of-my-life" in that moment is being created.

Even your MRT / Bus / Bike, Easy-Card creates a permanent record of your travels. There is no way around it. It is a risk that I and others choose to take.

But, if you are not running for public office or engaged in a high-profile profession, there is just no need that an investigation and smear campaign commence, checking your phone records, websites and whereabouts.

We remain in the class of commoners, just peacefully looking for some touch.

In a less than certified by reputation 100% legit spa, run by a mamasan / general, a tent or a request for a HJ is usually accommodated, depending on the playfulness of the lady.

The spas that mostly accommodate women, for their 3 hour beauty treatment are less likely.

All I can say, is that it is half the adventure, to find girls that will accommodate. In the same spa, some will and some won't. So, you must investigate.

And, although asking and being denied might be a little embarrassing, so what? You might have to make your needs known. She can't make the first move. That will label her.

The other day, I warmly touched her as she was massaging my thigh. I urged her. If she did not want to, she could just shake her head.

I mean, you are not a brute. You could almost half-heartedly investigate and let her decide.

You probably won't be banned from the spa, if you love it for good legit, by making a friendly request. And, your needs being known, she might do it next time.

The smaller ones in the middle of nowhere, well, 50% chance.

Met a very friendly and accommodating young lady in the XiChang Market. For some reason, I avoided the Diamond Building / Kangding area today. Looked like a lot of commotion, and I didn't want to get frazzled.

Anyway, this girl was just simplicity personified, in a good way. About maybe 30, Vietnamese, tiny, cute enough. 1. 5. No hassle, all smiles, diligent. Skipped the BJ because her enthusiasm and cuteness got me up fast. Overlubed, but that is okay.

Wonderfully, she was so petite and pliable, like a Gumby Doll. Really amazing how she flowed with no resistance. Super accommodating, warm, friendly, cooperative, and appreciative. And, in front of the stores, close to the alleyways, the ladies like to congregate. There are ladies on both sides of the street.

Honestly speaking, by far the better looking girls are in the Diamond Building alleys. But, as I stated, there was crowded commotion there that I viewed from Guilin, and I didn't want to walk into it. She was Vietnamese with no English and I am a foreigner with limited Mandarin. She also had limited Mandarin. Aside from agreeing on price, nothing else was spoken and it was all physical.

In the future, I will insist on my own condom. Her's did not fit well, too small or maybe the lube interfered. But it was unstable. I prefer my own premium quality, respected name brand, to avoid worry. So, be careful in that respect.

Who knows? I don't remember details except that the girl was a tad plump, as they say "pleasantly plump" but warm-hearted. I left contented.

These days, if I am turned off by what the mamasan wants to unload on me, I have no problem bolting for the door. Oftentimes, the mamasan relents and shows me what is behind door number two, the stunner she was saving for her good customer.

If not, I will mosey on down to the next spa, because often they appear in clusters, until I find a spa that is willing to give me what I am paying for.
