If there was only a thread dedicated to this. Hmmmmmm. Where would I find it?
I'm happy to pay a service fee, but I'm looking for a girl-friendly hotel with good security. (They keep the girl's passport until she leaves.).
Hmmmmmmm? How about the ISG User Blog titled "Medellin Hotels and Rental Apartments" with 1,514 reports and counting?
To give Toastmonger69 the benefit of the doubt, maybe he was being ironic----and, in his own way, advising ObjJay to RTFF.
Maybe I misunderstood, however my strong impression at that time was that people were very concerned about armed robberies on the street in tourist areas.

Statistically, if you are there for a week or two, chances are that you will not be a victim however you might be. What I did is I did my shopping around 9:00 am. I think criminals sleep late. Beyond that I took an Uber door to door from my airbnb to a casa.
Just a heads up that crime against foreigners is way underreported in Medellin. Two reasons, 1) It's a pain in the ass to a report a crime and very few solved, 2) Many guys crimes against mongers are in compromised situations and they don't want girlfriends or wives to find out.
I was told the above by state police when I reported my crime. A big reason for me doing so was a record for insurance.

A gay friend of mine was drugged and robbed by some people he thought were his friends. I got in contact with a detective that I knew and his advice was to just be thankful that he is still alive.
Being sarcastic.

I've been to Medellin over 20 times in the past 3 years. I have never been a victim of crime. However, I got message from China from Tinder that I like to bang when I returned home. I was videoed walking with a chica to a short time hotel. She asked if I used a condom!
You completely confused me with this message. I'm not sure what happened or whether something happened. I hope you will be OK.
You completely confused me with this message. I'm not sure what happened or whether something happened. I hope you will be OK.
I am sorry for the confusion. What I was saying is that someone used their phone to record me taking a chica to short time hotel. I did. Not know this happened until I received a what's app message from a Tinder girl that had a clip that was posted on social media. It was a weird experience.

I've never traveled to another country to monger, pretty much just did my thing in the US, I thought the amount I paid outweighed the cheaper prices outside of the US when you include travel expenses. However, a friend convinced me to take a trip to Hong Kong in Tijuana last year and it blew my mind. After several trips there, we want to explore the more exotic looking ladies of Columbia as you must be Mexican to work in Hong Kong, love the Mexican ladies but Columbian women range from blonde, blue eyed barbies to hot chocolate goddesses, the latter, aside from a few exceptions in a few other clubs in Tijuana, you will not get in Mexico. My question is are there any clubs similar to Hong Kong in Columbia? I've been reading but haven't seen any reference to any particular spots. Is it mostly small bars / clubs and / or online? What about bringing guests to your hotel? I've seen mixed responses regarding this. Also, what city if best for first time visitors? Basically, I don't know WTF I'm doing so I need some help! We are planning on traveling either Nov or Jan. Any help would be appreciated, also feel free to message me.
Feel free to check my contributions on the USA guide, same username.
Thanks!

Thanks!
No, I don't think so. They have clubs in Medellin like Gusto's but it is very expensive. The girls will ask for $300 US dollars and everything is takeout. You are better off in the park which is much better than the street scene in Tijuana and more upscale. If you want something like Tijuana the place to go is El Centro.
Columbian women range from blonde, blue eyed barbies
Yeah if you saw this then it was from some dye and contact lenses. Colombia is not Scandinavia.

I suggest trying San Jose, Costa Rica first. Girls on site, plenty of English spoken, can you can meet up easily with other mongers who can show you the ropes. Medellin is more intermediate monger level.
