El Faisan After Hours Night Club
Heading back to Medellin at end of year. What's the name of that one after hours club. It was near San Diego Club. Was kind of like a castle dungeon with bricked hallways and stair cases and I think it even has a door that was bars like a jail house door. I can't remember the name, been a few since I was in Colombia. I tried looking for it on google but it didn't show up.
This may be the place you have in mind.
A month or two ago, a chica from Fase II who visits me from time to time and a friend of hers were chatting about a nearby, after hours club in that area called El Faisan where they had had a good time the night before.
Feeling curious, a little after midnight one Thursday or Friday night, I took an Uber there to check it out. The address pops up in Google Maps as el faisan night club, CL 36 #46-8, La Candelaria.
However, we arrived at a totally darkened corner building with no signage in an (at night) totally deserted neighborhood of warehouse / commercial buildings.
I've no idea if we somehow missed a well-hidden entrance, or we arrived too early, or the Uber map took us to the wrong location, or the joint was temporarily or permanently closed.
The experience brought to mind the classic Seinfeld episode where George mysteriously ends up very brieflly alone in a warehouse club stacked full of super models all of whom drool over him and when he tries to return only finds a meatpacking plant in the same location.
