Planning a trip for the first time to Thailand exclusively for mongering. Plan on being there for a week, and operating on a slightly tight budget. What cities\towns would you recommend a first timer go to where there's a decent chance of getting laid? Is Thailand even worth it now with the political crisis in the country?

I'm doing research and planning for an upcoming 3-4 months backpacking trip in Thailand and Cambodia (first time in SE Asia) and while I've obviously read all the typical more or less common sense advice on keeping your valuables safe while traveling, is there anything I should be particularly observant about when dropping my pants and assorted other items in places like particularly massage parlours, where it's got to be difficult to keep an eye on your things if you're lying naked on your back or stomach?

Do you make an effort to always keep your things right next to you?

What about carrying around valuables like phone and passport in addition to just the cash you plan on spending that day? Stupid thing to do (well, obviously a lot of us are semi-handicapped without our smartphones these days)?

On a trip of this length I don't expect to be shelling out for anything close to luxury accommodation (maybe a mid-range hotel now and then, in Bangkok and Pattaya for instance), so I'm not sure if I should expect cheaper guest houses to have a room safe? Making it tempting to carry valuables around with me.

You can always roll your pants up and use them like a pillow during your massage.

Believe me, I've read this forum and many others all to find no answers to my question. So -- here it is. What is your experience purchasing Viagra and Cialis from those many street vendors along Sukhumvit Road in BKK? I know all the cautions. Really I do. Nevertheless, I tried some Cialis from one one of them right around Soi 13. Same packaging as from the pharmacies. No difference at all. Not out of date. Less than 200 THB for a packet of four pills. I tried it and it worked just fine. No complaints at all and at a huge discount from the pharmacies. What is your experience? What am I missing?

SW4.[/QUOTE]Maybe you are missing the fact that medicine should be kept within a certain range of temperature (and humidity) and the street vendors surely cannot guarantee this.

I do not think this recommendation is sponsored by the aircon and refrigerator industry but it is a fact that certain ingredients might change their performances when temperature is not the right one.

This already makes me think about buying from the street.

We know the cold chain is a relative concept in places like BKK where food is in open air stalls, with ice at the best trying to kill the natural degeneration of it, nevertheless the human body of farangs is set for different standards than the thais. No need to open the usual debate on thai water. .

I know one of the vendors on Sukhumvit really well. She has a number of vendor stalls. From a bar at night, to junk souvenirs, to you name it and the Erectile Dysfunction stand. I asked her about what she sells and her stuff is all fake. She buys it bulk from some place in BKK, not kept properly and is useless. Why not buy Sidegra? The Thai version of Viagra which is available in pharmacies at a very low price. It does work.

I pick it up at a pharmy over off Silom. 4 x 50 is only 150 baht.
