I realize that for those of you who've been mongering for a while, this information is old news and much of it can be gleaned from other corners of the internet. But for those folks new to mongering or unsure how things work in PP I hope this info will be helpful.

I've lived in PP for +6 months now and gotten dozens of oil massages around town (and in Siem Reap). I've gotten a happy ending in +90% of my oil massages by following a few basic rules. If others have pointers to add please respond. I'm sure different techniques work for different folks. Below is what nearly always works for me.

1) Select a massage parlor in the tourist areas along the river. The 10% of places where I was unsuccessful were all in established neighborhoods. In the tourist areas, I'm pretty much at 100%.

2) Go during off-hours or be the only customer. I prefer to go mid-day on a weekday and I check to see how many pairs of shoes are at the front door. If I see Western style shoes I either come back another time or pick a different place. An empty massage shop means ladies are not making any money and my thought is they're more willing to work for a tip to make some money during slow times.

3) Select a 1 hour oil massage. You will not get a happy ending with a foot massage.

4) Be friendly to the masseuse. If you are friendly and maybe can say a few words in Khmer, you will make the lady more comfortable and with her comfort comes her willingness to be nice back to you.

5) Oil massages are done totally nude. When you go into the room you will be told to take off your clothes and lay down. Do not leave your underwear on, do not put the towel over you or even next to you, do not put on the massage shorts. Lay on your stomach totally nude and when the lady comes in say Hello, in Khmer, but do not make eye contact.

6) If she covers your ass with towel all is not lost. Let her cover you. She may ask if it's ok to cover you. Ask if it's ok to leave it off. If she covers you let the tower stay there. When she works her way up to your ass, slide the towel up a bit to let her have more to work with. Then you can ask if it's ok to remove the towel. If she agrees and starts massaging your butt, this is a great sign. If she start massaging your inner thigh near your balls. You're in.

7) The flip. She may cover you again for the flip. It's OK, flip over with the towel, but then ask if it's ok to remove it. If she agrees to remove it that's great. Do not worry if you're hard as a rock and throbbing. Let me say it again. It's ok if you are totally hard and erect. Massages are very relaxing and a women is rubbing oil all over your body. How do you not get hard? If she let's you remove the towel you're going to get a HJ so relax. Don's say shit like "that was good" or "oh my god" or "of shit" or something that another person might think means you're getting sexual services. Keep it down. 11) Tip discreetly. Once she wipes you down and you get dressed, she will likely leave the room. 12) I don't go back t the same place more than a couple times per month. I am going to a massage parlor to get a massage that also includes a happy ending. I am not going to a brothel. Two of the places I go have high ratings on tripadvisor and the lady who gives me HJ's is mentioned by name in some of the reviews as being a good masseuse. Nothing sexual. I don't want to show up every week or every few days and treat her like I'm there just so she can jack me off. She is a good masseuse and I don't want to make her feel like a prostitute.

13) Be clean. This should be an earlier bullet point, but let me say it now. The more presentable (dare I say better looking) you are the more likely she will be to service you. Maybe Franga just had a better choice overall that you did. There are not too constants in the world of mongering. When we went and who we are is a big factor on how we report things. If you noticed the women being older, that probably tells us the quality can vary from one visit to another. Both of your experiences add to some insight, as opposed to contradicting each other.

Case in point: I visited Medellin a while back on a short tour of the casas. I came away impressed with the looks of the girls and the overall operations of the casas. This will probably be of no use to 99% of mongerers out there, but between street 82 and 78 on Sisowath key there are a number of cheap local massage shops with girls sitting outside. I ventured into one that was an obvious knock shop, as one of the girls first called out "boom boom" to me. This was No. 11 Sisowath Key from the sign out front.

I ended up taking a HJ twice from the same chick. Cost $10 usd HJ plus $5 usd to take her top off. Or 60,000 riel total in local currency. FJ's are available for $15 usd I was told. But their english is poor to non-existent.

Inside are about 3 small rooms with only space for a mattress. 2 upstairs and one downstairs. The steps are almost vertical, and wooden.
