I think there's a couple reasons some guys prefer to not make a deal beforehand. First is to feel like it's a regular date and they just choose to give a gift afterwards. Feels better than agreeing upfront to pay a girl for sex. These guys will still pay market rate but feel good about helping out the girls.
Second some guys are hoping to get away for cheap or free if it's possible. Maybe she's new to the game and will be afraid to ask afterwards. Maybe the guy has some sales skills and convinces her she will come out further ahead playing the long game. Or he can say he thought she liked him and it was free. Lots of ways to play it for the guy but also for the chica too. If she turns out to be an old pro at this game it can get ugly. And the police don't speak English.
Yeah in Thailand you might need to kick her out the next day. Not so much in Medellin jaja.

I haven't been to Medellin in a while. The last time I was there, there was a place called the Mansion that had a club which had a lot of women. I guess they closed. Where are good places to monger? Has anyone ever pulled someone from the outdoor crowd at Lleras?
Has anybody found a reliable hotel near Poblado since the Mayor's decree? I've been doing some research and both the Charlee and Du Parc have implemented very guest unfriendly policies. Is Hampton Inn still good? Any recent reports on guest friendliness in hotels would be appreciated:
1. No (or low) joiner fees. And I'm going for 2-3 girls per day.
2. No problem with ID check. But I don't want to be limited to 21+. I'm into the 18-19 year old crowd.
3. Don't really want to have to do Air BNB. I want daily maid service (2-3 girls per day necessitates it.).

Went by Parque Lleras yesterday. Was there early about 4:30 pm. Talent was definitely subpar. Maybe because it was early but I don't remember that many ugly girls being in park, ever. The girls working in the bars and restaurants look much better than the park girls did.
In general, I'm not a fan of being in Meddy during the holiday season and even less now because everything is more crowded with tourists and the traffic is worse. The gringo invasion is in full swing with plenty of sighting of single female travelers or small groups and herds of sexpats and mongers in El Poblado and Laureles. Considering bouncing to Asia for the holidays.
On a side note, the flight into Meddy from the states wasn't bad. The tourist line for immigration was a little long. Also when you got through immigration there was a another long line after bag pickup. See attached pic.

Around which dates in December do things slow down? Is there still plenty of talent before Dec 22nd? Or would you just go Mid January at that point?
Poblado may be full of tourists and mongers but you don't have to stay in Poblado. If you are sick of seeing gringos everywhere, you can stay in another neighborhood where gringos are rarely seen. Just do your research before venturing to new places.
Laureles is a well known neighborhood that has some gringos but not to the same extent as Poblado. I am currently in Belen and there aren't that many gringos hanging around here. It seems to be a safe neighborhood with plenty of places to eat and shop.
You don't need to be in Park Lleras to find girls. There are the girls in El Centro who can take care of your needs for a cheap price. There are also girls online who will travel to where you live. If you can find girls that you like online, then it really doesn't matter where you stay.
For guys new to Medellin, it is best to stick with Poblado because it is the easier place to stay and more people speak English there. In other neighborhoods, most people don't speak English so you will need to get out your cellphone to use Google Translate if you don't speak Spanish.
Spanish makes life easier here but you can manage with no Spanish with your cellphone. It is a hassle but it is doable.
The Christmas holiday has not affected the number of girls available online. In fact, I think that they are more eager to meet with gringos because they want money to buy presents for Christmas. That has been my experience so far.
