Sorry this occured and could not agree more. A long time ago I was told i had to carry my passport with me in thailand by some police guy - but i never do this (In thailand i have never had any issues - in china i have, but not here).
I can handle losing money, but the hassle of losing your passport is a pain. However i am a bit worried now about the button security method, i normally used buttoned pockets to protect my valuables, looks like this is no longer sufficient.

Postcript next morning: I'd barfined Miss Jungle Girl only for a short-time session last night, as I wanted a good night's sleep alone after we finished. But since she spent so much time with me having dinner and dancing before even getting to the room, I told her I would pay long time rates. After we finished a long session of fun in the early hours, she said she wanted to stay until morning. when i told 1ball about the sleep-giggling by last-night's girl, he told me she may have been on yaba (a form of amphetamine/speed very common in bkk). not sure. i've seen a lot of people on speed - she was a bit twitchy, but didn't seem over the top. i checked her arms for syringe marks outside the club last night as giotto and i waited for 1ball (giotto will remember me asking her about her old wrist-slash scars that are common to so many tgs. like many, hers were very light scars indicating it was a not serious attempt). i didn't see any needle-tracks, but yaba is also taken in pills or smoked, so who knows?

as i think back over the night, and doing a quick google search, i'm guessing that unfortunately 1ball may be right, as she had some of the effects: very high sex drive (she kept asking for more and more over the night until i had to finally give up), big appetite for food, giggling and tossing and turning in her sleep, and her over-alertness in the live rock club (which i should have guessed as a sign, but i thought she just liked the music). plus the fact that the majority of wgs in bkk take yaba in one form or another.

on the other hand she went to sleep soon after sex, and she was "with it" all the time (including asking for a condom - apparently people on yaba tend to forget about condoms). as i said - who knows? maybe she was on it, maybe not.

bizarre coincidence that i met her in the club as the band played this well-known drug-related song:

A friend of mine who lives in BKK told me that that was why he came up with one of his unforgiving rule. His girl(s) must call ahead if she wants to come over. (And, I've seen his apartment. It rivals some of the 5-star accommodations and explains why so many TG's want to spend some "quality" time at his place. ;))

The topic came up as he kept on getting calls and text messages while having a drink with me, and I mentioned to him that it's ok for him to take the call. But, he explained the situation and told me that he wouldn't take her back no matter what. Tough guy, but then, he can afford to with his looks and money.

A photocopy of your passport and visa is acceptible to the police. Keep your passport in the hotel safe.

Thanks. I'm not so sure I've willingly turned down any hot TGs, lately. It's been more a matter of expedience as I have a GF, now and just don't need the aggravation. She would kill me. Her brothers, both of whom are cops would kill me.

Despite what guys think, there is no way to ever keep extra-curricular activities with regular TGs a secret. Someone who's a friend of a friend of a cousin of the best friend of you GF sees you somewhere with the girl-in-question, and faster than email, she knows and you're fucked.

Sebastian My - quite right, I always thought the button was enough. Now that I've had this loss, it seems that it would be very easy to unbutton a pocket when we are all jammed into a baht bus. I had no clue it was in progress. This topic showed up in the letters to the editor in the Pattaya Mail. On Friday 26th. 2 pick pocket incidents were sited, both on songthaos.

I have seen devices that sound an alarm when the mobile unit is separated more than 5 metres from the base unit. Used for wondering children, their too bulky to carry in a wallet at the moment.

I don't know if Jackson will let me post the sites here, but I will try in order to save myself several PMs.
There are several sites actually: Asianeuro, Thailovelinks, dating.thaivisa.com, Asianfriendfinder, Hotornot.com and of course MSNpersonals (Thailand).

But, first and most importantly, you have to be able to speak Thai because most of the girls have limited English. Most of the girls are also looking for a boyfriend, not a quick shag. If you play a game with them in order to get a quick fuck, you're just being an asshole. In most cases, you need to live here because you won't score with them that quickly, anyway. You need to take them out on dates, just like any regular girl. Personally, I have always dated with the idea of finding a GF.

Then she gave me this look, just staring at me for a short while after which she just planted a very passionate kiss on my lips. She straddled me and just gave me a series of kisses as she caressed my face and my chest. It did not take me long to get deeply aroused.

I had to break the momentum a bit to grab a condom, but we got back into position and she started riding me in a slow sensual way. I was in heaven. Don't flame me, since I do realize what she does for a living. I know it could just be acting on her part and that I need to move on. It's just that for that short period of time .. a matter of hours, it just felt so real. I'm not giving out her name for purely selfish reasons. I hope you all understand.

There is only one proper solution to this state of mind...get down to your nearest 'Knocking Shop' - pick the two sexiest little wigglers and bang some sense into your little head...the big one will follow....

Wallet safety - I KEEP TOUTING THE NECK WALLET. Under your shirt, unpickable, if under an armpit essentially invisible unless you like skin tight shirts

Also the little thing about not carrying any more money than you NEED - leave the rest in the hotel safe (or in a motion alarm equipped bag - which is what I do - screams its little head off if moved - 110db)

The actual passport won't FIT into a money belt -it WILL fit a neck wallet (but there isn't much reason to actually carry the passport itself when a COPY will suffice)
