I have heard Vikings Resort is $1,000 a day and has russian women who are very attractive, but not as passionate (no kissing, no BBBJ) as the Dominican girls. I do not know where it is, other than in Dom Rep.

Garth that is a great point on hitting the gym. I walked for a solid six months to build up my stamina and get into shape for the chicas. I think toning up is next on my agenda. I was not "300 lbs." overweight but did drop about 40 lbs.
Also, I hope all know that getting the chicas close to exhaustion is not the goal here and I admit to using the terms too loosely.

Marzo, thanks for your candid remarks. I have been touting BB's since I was there a couple times, and contrary to popular belief, I am not shilling for them. I was there over 2 weekends, and one of them was the bikini contest which may have brought out their best. Hearing comments like this is a good thing, and if BB's watches the boards they should consider your remarks seriously.
Personally I love the dark skinned chicas, but I live a sheltered life. The skin on these chicas is amazing. So many women in the US go to tanning booths and can’t approach the beauty of the chicas “flaca (?)”. My next trip down will probably be mixed with a good amount of time in Sosua as well as BB's (it is hard to cut the umbilical chord so quick).

Hospitality A - No problems there.
Environment A or C - The hotel environment itself I would rate an A. Great jacuzzi, pool is well maintained, and they have recently finished expanding the hotel area. Poor pool table has seen better days though:) The staff/bartenders take good care of you and are friendly and nice. The place is safe, and has an overnight watchman. If you are expecting alot to do outside the hotel as in Sosua though, the location may not be perfect for you. The POP/ Costambar area is definately different than the hustle and bustle of other places.
Rooms A - Well maintained, reasonable price, but may be a touch high for the DR in some people's opinion. Maid service does a great job, etc.
Management A - On my visits, I have spoken at length with the manager at BB's. Genuinely nice guy. Does a great job imho.
Food and Drinks C- The food can be hit or miss, but appears to be getting better and the prices of the drinks are definately a bit on the high side.
Girls B- When I was last there, I would probably say 3 of the girls were really gorgeous, a couple above average, another 15 were average, and yes, there were a few that didnt interest me. There were more than enough to keep me busy however. During July, there were about 50% darker skinned young ladies, and the other half were very light skinned. Honestly I think this varies immensely as the girls come and go. Some may be there a year, some for a couple of months, etc. The woman who works with the girls can certainly find one or a few that will make you happy though. It is very true that several of the really attractive ones get picked up fast though.
I enjoy my visits to Blackbeards, and am actually headed down in a couple of weeks. The food could be better, but there are also a couple of great restaurants down the road. The drinks are expensive for the DR, but you don't really have to spend all of your drinking money in the bar there either. ( I'm guilty of doing that a bit too much) I don't really fault them for turning a profit either. What they offer is convenience. It's also a good jumping off point for newer people to the scene.
I think you may have caught a bit of bad luck with the selection of young ladies there that day, not sure. So many things happen with all of those girls. The really hot ones make a wad of cash early in the day and dissappear, or are booked early, or take a couple of days off etc. Others drift in and out all day and night. I was there for 9 days last trip and saw the "core group" of 10-15 there every day. I also saw a few new girls nearly every day, including a real stunner my last day as I was leaving for the airport... DOH! Luck of the draw. Of course, Sosua does have a greater selection of chicas than any one venue could compete with. Heading over there makes for a great evening trip imho. Outside of the hotel, there are a few other venues for women, and you can always bring them back to the hotel.
I guess most of it is just preference, and a touch of luck. I think the place makes a good home base for my vacations in the DR. It helps when I get too lazy to wander too much some evenings:)

It also should be noted that the majority of BB girls would be described as "black" in North America. Not cinnamen skinned. Straight up black girls. This is not a problem, and black girls can be amazingly attractive and sexy. But the girls at BB are not exactly representative of the national population.
During the day time, every single girl around the pool was negrita. At night, when some reinforcements arrived, things were a bit more diverse. However, a crew of older guys quickly claimed about 5 girls and took them back to the jacuzzi and thus out of commission from about 7-9. By 9:30 (on a saturday night) things were DEAD. No new girls arrived.
Just the same 7 girls Id been passing all afternoon. Honestly, there is little that is less sexy than telling an unattractive girl you arent interested.
These girls seemed friendly, and perhaps are fun in the bedroom. I might be shallow, but these girls wouldn't turn a single head in a north american bar... much less on this island of beautiful women!
Over all, disappointing. BB's is reasonably priced, so I just chalked it up to a nice hotel at a good price and moved on after one night.
If BB is all you know of the girls in the DR, visit any mall in one of the big cities and you will think youve gone to heaven. Or take a bus ride. I rode Caribe tours both ways from Santo Domingo and sat next to hotter girls on both legs of the trip than I met the whole time at BB. The air conditioning is oppressive in the bus, and with some small talk you can get the chica to cuddle up to you to "warm up."

I think maybe you did hit a bad weekend; it can vary depending on how many customers are at the hotel. If there aren't many, it doesn't pay for the girls to come over. That said, I wonder if you tried to talk to Charo the "manager" for the girls. She might have been able to hook you up.

I have 2 daughters in their early 20's. I just started mongering a couple years ago, mostly Canada and some US. There are girls out there as you suggest, but you can do what I did and get over it. This is your vacation and by all means I encourage you to hook up the chicas of your choice. I will tell you with my background, this is an entirely different level of mongering and adjust accordingly.
The way I look at it, this is my second childhood. Instead of buying a vette and trying to act younger, I enjoy the company of these chicas and 19+ looks great to me. most of the women you will meet in prostitution venues will be 25 or younger, but if you speak a bit of spanish and are looking for a longer term relationship, then you will have an almost unlimited number of women available to you, some of whom will be very attractive. you will meet them everywhere, in businesses, in the street, wherever they work. just smile at them, make some conversation, show some interest, and they will very readily reciprocate.

Supertigre some very sound advice. I agree 100%. My experiences have been much better when I spend a little time with a possible date. On my first trip I was a kid in a candy store. However with each trip I have paced myself and spent more time just being social with many different girls. I buy a few drinks flirt like I was a teenager again and try to find a little chemistry.
One tip to pass on is I try and seat myself where I can have a great view of the arrivals and departures of the girls. I have seen some very hot girls that have arrived after I have already made my plans for the evening. I also pay attention at breakfast and have more than once set a date for later that evening based on what I have seen!
