Raunchier cafes con piernas outside of Centro
Stumbled across a clutch of 6 or so cafes con piernas in Santiago today that were raunchier than you usually get even in most dark windowed places in Centro. Type in San Diego 1969 Santiago Chile in Google Maps. Along San Diego St. About a mile and a half due south of the middle of town (between Gen. Gana and Arauco Streets) there are 6 or so cafes on both sides of a section of the road, just north of a major weekend market area (San Diego and Placer and several blocks surrounding). All places are of the dark-windowed variety. There's a front room with the usual 1. 5K-2K coffee drinks, but some also have a back room. Espectaculos Sexy Woman was raunchiest. They charged a 2. 5K (just under US $5) cover and you got a small cup of Sprite. More girls than usual, maybe 6-7 midday, and if you bought the girl a drink at 2K she'd take you in the dark back room, strip (usually) and go really hot and heavy on the lap dance trying to upsell to a 25K ($48-ish) sexo then and there (you might even see others doing it). You have to either take the deal or get bounced back to the main room after the song. High pressure and a confusing system for the first timer, but those in the know would scan the girls quickly and choose carefully if they wanted to partake. Also bring your own raincoat.
Other spots had the more traditional approach, where you'd buy your own drink for 1. 5-2K and the girl would want you to buy her a drink at 2K ($3. 80) to sit with you rather than just dance on the other side of the counter. YMMV with the girl but it usually meant a grinding lap dance with lots of groping and sometimes tops coming off on a second or third drink. Looks varied widely, from 4-8, generally. Belen at Eros was a nice, curvy 21 year old, for example. Most girls would let you touch wherever you wanted as long as you kept buying the 2K drinks. No "air dances" here! They'd do a lot of touching you as well. Upsell would be 25K-30K where available, usually to go in back somewhere. Knowing a bit of Spanish really, really helps, though (they don't meet you halfway there). Places also open on Saturday.
So even if you don't go for the full course, consider it much hotter than the hottest lap dances in the USA (e. G. Tampa) for significantly less money. You should get 2 songs or so per 2K drink, making it much better value for that part than you see in the USA for a much hotter, more hands-on lap dance that's great fun. Eros and Sexy Woman were good for that. Would avoid Caliente on the other side of the street, though (I think they padded the bill a bit, even though they had a pretty hot girl from the Dominican Republic. Most girls in most places were Chilenas).
Hope this helps someone. Cafes will be open 'til 9 pm most nights. As is usual for that type of place, it's best to go midday, as the male-female ratio is likely in your favor and you get more attention. Ya don't want there to be more guys than girls (e. G. After work) or be there at the same time your favorite girl has a regular customer.
Club Amsterdam and Chile assessment
Never ever try to monger in Santiago on a Sunday. Everything is closed.
Club Amsterdam is being refurbished and its usual location on Avenida Eliodoro Yanez 2342 in Providencia is therefore closed, though the "A" sign is still up. In the meantime they are operating out of a small house at Renato Sanchez 4262, tel. +56 9 999 541 88. When I was there there were five girls, four extremely unattractive, one quite attractive. She ways Argentinian. I think that says it all. Don't go to Chile for mongering (but Argentina may be an option).
In the posh neighborhoods of Providencia and Las Condes you see a lot of attractive women. The more positive impressions of some guys seems to be based on business trips to these areas. In the rest of the country they are not attractive. And I like short women, but they are simply too overweight and not very sexual.
Nightclubs with local action
I'm traveling to Santiago next week. I was looking for a semi-upscale nightclub with local action. Not necessarily pros but just a place where there are beautiful women for dancing and drinks. Also a nice strip club would be nice. I'm not into picking up street walkers.
Any help would be appreciated. I've been reading the forum but a bit confused as to what is open or not. I will be staying at the W hotel.
