There are plans to convert the old "Wegert Haus" opposite Woolworths on the corner of Kurfürstenstr. / Potsdamerstr., which currently houses a sex shop, to a "Laufhaus" style brothel. Very controversial, getting a lot of flack from residents, and the planning authorities are very much against it; the fear is that it will only make the scene in the area even worse.
