I'm just a regular business traveller to Bucharest and before renting appartments I stayed quite often in hotels there.
But now, knowing the difference by renting an appartment, I agree that is much more easy.

But anyway everyone should be careful as you can hear a lot of stories that someone had probs as the girl robbed him while staying in the appartment.

Look I only can talk about my experience and I saw that the girly had to register in the hotel. Quite often I saw them 2 - 3 hours later leaving the hotel alone.
Without any prob. Not being "punished" or persecuted by the staff.
I neither say that what you're talking about doesn't happen.
At least in the hotels I have been, I never saw this.
There it was as I told you: when you enter with her, she has to register and then she is allowed to enter - that's all.

An alternative approach is to meet the girl outside the hotel and escort her out after. In Prague I had a girl ask me to do this. Although I met her in the hotel bar, she told me there are instances of hotel staff harrassing them when solo, but not when accompanied. I guess this could apply in Buc also.

I thank for all info you leave here but now I am confused so I hope someone can help me with 3 simple questions. I shall go to Bucharest next month and wonder:

- Tell me about one or two good hotels (who is girlfriendly) and maybe have girls hanging in the bar waiting for some fun!

- What do this cost for 1-2 hours? (Never been in Bucharest before)

- What discoteq is no 1 if I like to find good girls without paying to much?

I think that if the girl is willing to register it will be almost the same in all hotels.
I haven't seen to much girls in the lobbies or hotel bars like in other cities like Moscow, Minsk, etc.
