I met Alejandra from tinder. I was initially skeptical about meeting anyone from tinder, but she agreed to do a video call and was ok with showing her cedula to the front desk, so I took a chance. I am by no means an expert about these punter paradise places. The question I would pose is, assuming the Parque Lleras girls aren't vastly better, why not go the La Isla and Fase Dos route? Besides the cost advantage, I've never heard of anyone getting drugged and robbed by a girl sourced from the upmarket strip clubs.

Prices in Medellin will continue to go up. The girls realize they can name damn near whatever price and dudes will pay it because they think the girls are hot and they flew all the way to Colombia. It's not only hookers, the price of everything is bumping up. This morning I took a walk to the supermarket and saw at least 8 foreigners in 15 minutes in Laureles which has become about as bad as El Poblado in terms of Gringos. There is zero Gringo novelty like there used to be. Parque Lleras is ground zero for Gringo ripoffs.

One year ago, it was 4400 pesos to the dollar. Now it is 3715 pesos to the dollar.

Not much you can do about that. As for gringos in Laureles, it is the second most popular neighborhood but it is still nothing compared to the number of gringos in Poblado. Keep in mind that you don't need to stay in the two most popular neighborhoods for gringos. There are other neighborhoods where you can stay and barely see any gringos. If you don't want to see so many gringos, don't stay in Poblado or Laureles.

As for the prices that the girls are asking, they can ask for as much as they want. That is their right and you can't blame them for asking for as much as they think they can get. It is up to the guy whether he wants to accept the offer or not. If it is too much for you, you can counteroffer or just walk away. There are plenty of girls who are available and you can find girls who fit your budget with some effort. Or you can just go down to El Centro and pick up the streetwalkers or hit the casas for much less.

And that's the mentality that helps push the prices up because tourists compare the prices in Colombia to the USA. Same thing happened in Sosua and other places where guys didn't mind paying $100 because it was still less than they were paying at the strip clubs in Atlanta.
