Back in Medellin after 4 years, and I was honestly shocked by the price inflation (close to 100% increase in many places) combined with noticeably lower overall quality. These days, it only feels worth it if you're already traveling here for other reasons not just for the sexaction.

I stayed at the Hilton Curio for 3 nights and got a free upgrade to a King Suite thanks to Diamond status. The room was excellent.

Here's my breakdown of spots I checked out:

1. Plaza Botero / El Centro freelancers.

Mostly Venezuelan girls. Out of 50 I saw, only about 1 was doable for me. Didn't pull the trigger, but prices seemed to hover around 70 k pesos.

2. El Centro strip club Playmates Bar Show.

This place is mostly for local blue-collar guys. Damage is 120150 k.

Tantra Medellin: 170 k for an hour. Out of 12 girls, 3 were solid 8/10's.

4. High-end strip clubs.

Fase II (preferred over La Isla).

Better premium vibe, hotter dance shows, and higher-quality girls overall. They don't pressure you to buy drinks you can just grab water and sit at the bar. Entry ticket 50 k.

Damage is 500 k for 45 min in a private room. Take-out around 1500 k (you can pay in dollars but at a bad rate).

First night: picked a passionate thick Venezuelanseductive, crazy dancer.

Second night: cute 19-year-old Colombian, short with big tits, still killed it on perreo. Great sessions both times.

I'd rather spend more for better quality at Fase II.

Generally, the guys who stay here for the long term or for long visits that last for months are happy with Medellin. So far I haven't met any long term stay gringo who is not happy. Everyone has been able to find the type of girl that they want for the price that they are willing to pay or has a steady girlfriend. Among the long term guys, no one has been complaining about prices.

Now it is a different story with guys coming over for a week or so. If you are here for a while, you can be more patient and girls who have turned you down come back to you at the lower price when business is slow. They know that you are here for a while so you get treated differently.

As for myself, as with some other expats here, I prefer a rotation of favorite girls rather than constantly seeing new girls who may or may not be good. With a rotation of 5-7 girls, it is almost always going to be good and with the right number, there is still diversity.

Does Medellin have issues? Of course, but it's not a bad place to be.

The monthly rate is much cheaper and currently a number of places in Medellin show the discount Although it may be true that some places do not offer a discount, most do.

And if you read posts here you will see hundreds of posts about chicas in Poblado. Not sure about the current status of the mayor's push against prostitution, but it doesn't seem to be stopping things if you read this forum about stuff in Parque Lleras, etc.
