Thanks Dude!
Tempoecorto,
Medellin or Cartagena? Before my first trip to Colombia, I was pondering upon those same questions you now have. I ended up choosing Medellin for my first trip and it worked out great for me. In my second trip to Colombia, I traveled to CTG and did not like it that much after being scammed by a board member (Aunsa) and I ended up switching my traveling plan and going to Barranquilla where I had a fantastic time. Although Casa activity in Medellin seems to be the main dish, I think there is plenty on the Medellin menu as far as non pros or regular girls, University girls, facebook chicas, mileroticos chicas, and prepagos that can come to you or you to them, and of course the night life clubs / bars. You may be up to a surprise once you see the talent and how gorgeous those girls at the cheap Casas could be. For a casa starter, I recommend you go to Casa New Life, Zandaly, and Coffee Shop. They are more than 30 Centro casas in case you want to make that part of your morning, afternoon routine. Local women are friendly, gorgeous, and easy to meet and to talk to. To get a taste of the local people, I don't necessarily recommend that you stay in El Centro or the Mayorista areas. Those areas are poor, beat down, not that safe to be around late at night and kind of low class, but that is me. Some people in this board have shared that they have enjoy staying in those areas. J like visiting the Centro daily but just during the day till late afternoon and I loved it, but at night it changes drastically and its not that safe I would recommend middle class barrios like Laureles or Envigado http://www.medellinliving.com/neighborhood-guides/page/3/. They are safer, well situated and not too far from the action (Centro, Poblado, Parque Lleras, or even the Mayorista) and not that expensive and spoiled by tourist like El Poblado...
Shout out to you Cerebro! I'm planning to go to Medellin in December or January. You gave me a head start on the apartment situation.
Thanks!

First visit to CTG
Could I please ask for a little advice, will be visiting Colombia and CTG for the first time in a couple of weeks.
1. Which high end hotels are girls friendly. I have a booking at Hilton, is this OK or should I move?
2. How much should I be paying. Don't like over paying or want to cause problems for future visitors:
3. What are the best places to visit for action.
4. Staying for 5 days how much cash should I bring, can I use USD or do I need to change to local currency?
5. Any fun things to do during the day (mongering or not).
6. Will I have a language problem. Just speak English.
Thanks for your advice. Look forward to posting about my experience.

Most of your questions have been answered so many times already. Why not to bother to read, but you don't bother to write and ask? You'll discover a new world.
1. Which high end hotels are girls friendly. I have a booking at Hilton, is this OK or should I move?
None. Move. RTFF. If you paid already to book the worst hotel in town for this hobby, you deserve the penalty. Next time RTFF.
2. How much should I be paying. Don't like over paying or want to cause problems for future visitors:
From 100 to 250 max. RTFF.
3. What are the best places to visit for action.
RTFF.
4. Staying for 5 days how much cash should I bring, can I use USD or do I need to change to local currency?
This question surpasses all others. Why should you expect you could use USD in Colombia? Can you use COP (ok, even EUR) in New York?
6. Will I have a language problem. Just speak English.
LOL. Guess? It's like some new tourist plunging and speaking only German in Dallas. Sure, someone speaks German in Dallas, but... Good luck. Based on your questions, you look like you'll need a lot of good luck.

Apartments Cartagena
Guys,
We want to have a weekend party in Cartagena, we been having issue finding a upscale apartment with no restrictions. Most luxury hotels and some apartments have the "no overnight guest" restriction. Which apartment or luxury house can you guys recommend?
Thank you.
I do not know your definition of "upscale" and yes some of the apartments I am going to direct you look "dated", and I do not know how many bedrooms you are looking for. But if the issue is having guests then I would bet on the sure thing; Juan Ventura has always been very good to me (he will tell you which apartments are "guest" friendly) so I am oblicated to shill for him andd the last apartment that I sayed in was fairly nice (Playa 301).

When I tried the above link from my emails from juan I had no problems but when I click in it here it presents a blue screen. Maybe some othiner members can shed light on why it does this. This is from an email that is a few years old;
try this, copy and paste this into your browser: http://www.venpro.net/fotosapartamentos/index.htm

Practicar su espanol

Thanks for your advice. Look forward to posting about my experience.
You best practice phrases for spanish before you go! I have been to Panama, Mexico, France, , Italy, Tanzania, Kenya, Turkey and Thailand (a moment of silence for the reverence of mongering in Thailand.) and there are fewer people speaking English in Cartagena than any of these other places. You will be HELPLESS unless you practice spanish phrases that are practical, you will not understand the answers to your questions so stick to the simple things. FIrst you need to know how to give the cab driver directions. So use Google translator to practice saying "Please take me to. " and write down the address to show them. Next practice your numbers for negotiating with chicas. The last thing you will always say at the end of the negotiation is "no mas de doscientos cincuenta mil por una hora!
Take a lap top or tablet to access the google translator to practice phrases while you are there! The most embarrassing thing to happen to me (sober) in Cartagena was going to the little market in Liguito and asking in spanish for some soup for my clothes (the spanish word for soup sounds like the english word for soap so it popped into my head. If I was't six foot two and over two hundred pounds they probably would be laughing in my face. As I'm sure they did after I left. If you are realy prepared you will get a global phone and buy a sime card when you there so you can have data (practice on Google translator how to ask for the sim card and data) spend around 40 dollars american for the data so you have plenty then you can carry a translator with you that will speak to you if you have an android phone with up to date operating system.
How much cash do you need? How much pussy can you eat and fuck in a given period? I have never had enough money with me in cartagena to satisfy me! ATMs have limits (learn these and vary your ATM machines by providing bank in a day. (do not hit the same bank's ATM twice in a day.

Sorry, but.
I looked for Juan's apartment list, but can't seem to find the damn thing; little help please?

As others have said, RTFF. Seriously, this information is all on the forums and you did not even make the slightest attempt to read otherwise you would have been able to answer at least 3/6 questions within the first few pages. I will answer number 4 and number 6 for you (as much as I don't want to), and you can figure out the rest.
You do not pay in USD, and unless the USD is commonly used in the country you are visiting then you always go with the local currency (which is the Colombian Peso, COP). I would just use an ATM as they offer better rates than exchange services. As for a language problem, yes you will have a big language problem if you only speak english. Cartagena is a tourist city so I'm sure you'll find a chica or two that can speak very limited english, but if you speak none you're going to struggle. If you're going to use a translator such as Google Translator, you're still going to struggle because it tells the chicas you are new, don't speak english, and are easy to take advantage of (even if you don't think you are). Don't expect GFE if that's what you're looking for, lack of spanish diminishes the chances of that. Colombia is not for easy lays as many people believe, you need to speak some basic spanish without using a translator, and in more advanced cities like Bogota and Medellin you definitely need to have some conversational spanish without a translator otherwise many girls won't even try to speak to you. You need a little more than basic in those cities. If you don't learn spanish, I would highly encourage you to reconsider your trip because the questions you listed give a strong indication that you're either going to struggle big time, or set yourself up for having someone take advantage of you. I wanted to go to Colombia a couple years ago, but upon my research I decided to hold off until my spanish improved. I visited places like DR and SXM while learning spanish, and trying it out with chicas who knew a little bit of english. I did this for about a year before going to CTG, and it helped quite a bit. My spanish is now conversational and I try to avoid using a translator as much as possible, which allows me to have a good time in Bogota and Medellin and therefore I don't go to CTG anymore, which also happens to be more costly (2 x or 3 x as much) than the other cities. So seriously, reconsider your trip until you can learn some basic spanish without needing a translator. Yeah I get that the thought of fucking a hot colombiana is turning you on, but you're not going to have a good time if you can't speak the basics of the local language. There are other destinations you can go to if you have no desire to learn the local language.

Thanks Black Page
For the record I did RTFF but a lot is not clear in the forum.
Now lets examine your response in more detail.
1. Which high end hotels are girls friendly. I have a booking at Hilton, is this OK or should I move?
BP – I have read plenty of stories of guys getting ripped off renting apartments by people like Aunsa and hotels that were Puta friendly but now not, I am not seeing any posts about the Hilton in this forum, in my travels many of the high-end hotels cater to us – for example in Kiev the hotel I stay at has a strip club and security stop the girls when leaving and call your room to make sure you have not been ripped off.
2. How much should I be paying. Don't like over paying or want to cause problems for future visitors:
BP. Why is this a dumb question, I have read the forum and see guys paying up to 500 K for LT, would you prefer people over pay and mess-up the market or ask a simple question to make sure.
3. What are the best places to visit for action.
BP – I did read the forum.
4. Staying for 5 days how much cash should I bring, can I use USD or do I need to change to local currency?
BP – Your response shows how little you have traveled the world. In many developing countries the girls prefer more stable currencies (USD / EUR), for example if you ever visit Russia, you will learn that converting you USD into local currency is a terrible move. Visiting Brazil I have found the ATM's often don't work with international cards and as this forum pointed out they often have low limits on what you can withdraw.
6. Will I have a language problem. Just speak English.
BP– As you might be aware English is very widely used language and in many countries English is spoken at a basic level by the girls, for example Mexico they speak Spanish yet a lot of girls speak limited English, Panama – never had a problem with English, Russia – guess what – they speak Russian but many of the girls speak English.
BP – Many thanks for taking the time to read my post, but how about providing more constructive advice to your fellow members who actually help pay and support this forum.

Juan's Apartments
Thank you sir!
I hope our paths cross some day.
Sorry my link showed listings in Spanish; but here is a brief look at one of Juan's apartments and how I added to the decor. Sorry about the fish eyed lense distorition; I was trying to get the widest angle with what I had to work wtih. As for her; it makes me feel like such the philanthropist to contribute to the educational fund of those sweet young ladies who visit Cartagena from the other Colombian cities ;)

I'd stay at the Hilton Cartagena if traveling with wife, relatives, business colleagues, etc. If the emphasis of my travel was to bang a different working girl everyday and to bang them where I was staying, I'd do as has been suggested here 100's of times, I'd rent an apartment from Juan. Since you've read from the two guys who chose not to heed the caution of a couple of others about Aunsa, I think it's safe to assume you've also read the numerous recommendations to just keep it simple and rent an apartment from Juan.
If you feel you must stay at the Hilton, and want to bang multiple p4 p barrio girls a day, banging them in one of the well appointed love motels would be my recommendation. You csn find motels on the list put together by WorldTravel69 on the Cartagena List thread.

3. What are the best places to visit for action..
Hi all,
I read lot of topics and have the same questions Uk4444 has.
Sorry but I can t find answers to my questions.
Coming Cartagena in February for the first times.
I want to stay near the centro, or get semani.
Can't find an apartment or an hotel for my need (chica friendly) at decent price.
I do not need a woman for every night but have a chance ' to decide it, yes!
Thel motel is out of discussion (I only take girls for all night or nothing) and Laguito and Bocagrande are too distant for me, I wish go here for playa only (with bus), not nightlife.
Speak Italian a decent English, french and Portuguese, just start to learn Spanish (easy language for me) so don't think have problem here.
However if I don't find nothing will try Edificio Conquistador, has good price, is chica friendly?
Is possible to find apartment near clock tower when I'll come here?
And another question there are bus to go centro-Laguito until 22-00 23-00 ? Want to take taxi only in the night. I'm not rich just a normal person 40 years old, in all my holidays like to know local people.
Thanks. And sorry to annoy someone.

I don't argue you have lots of experience in the world, but your words clearly demonstrate not only that you have no experience in Colombia, as you admitted since the beginning, but also that you have no idea that this country can be different. Come and learn yourself, if you don't believe.
Nothing wrong, but do not argue if my response is not what you wished.

Hilton: It has been written countless of times that all upscale hotels do not admit girls or apply high fees. Hilton is particularly known to make problems. When you see it, you'll understand it's impossible to sneak through security.
Apartments: Aunsa is well known. Why not to rent an apartment from a trusted person? That is someone who has been mentioned many times here? You can also PM someone.
I am now sitting in a very comfy apartement. Yesterday I partied hard with two girls, who made love furiously each to other laying down on the balcon in front of the sea, under moonlight. I am grateful everyday to the ISG members who "forced" me to rent an apartment the first time.

It is not. I answered "From 100 to 250 max". Today I change: "From 100 to 300 max." Girls became more greedy. Not enough? If you RTFF, you'll collect enough statistical data. RTFF is the best advice.
3. What are the best places to visit for action.
OMG! Treason!! LOL. You have no idea who you are talking to. Seriously: I think I posted reports in ISG from 20 or 30 countries (I am counting today 1130 posts, you just reached 25). I finished 48 pages of my last passport in 2 years. Let me try to remember some of them. : Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Panama, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Mexico, Guatemala. In Asia: Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, China PRC, Taiwan. In Africa: Ghana and Uganda. Also from USA. Australia. Kuwait. Plus Europe and where I did not post any report.
You are right saying "In many developing countries the girls prefer more stable currencies (USD / EUR)". But you are in Colombia, not in Russia. Try a search for "ATM" in the CTG or any Colombia thread.

1) Go to the CTG forum
2) Search for "Black Page" and go back from 2015 till 5-6-7 even 8 years ago. I posted some useful ones, which are still 100% valid.
3) Neglect posts like this one and select reports.
