Medellin Reports

Logic begs the question of why would we stay if we were dissatisfied with Medellin. That said, I've been known to travel from time to time to keep things fresh. When you have the time you can find whatever you want at the price you want. I have no complaints on that front.

That being said it wasn't easy to get a straight answer my wife said and seemed obvious to her it was kind of frowned upon. York we arent sure but it was listed as a guest friendly hotel. Traveling with my wife a nice hotel with a roof top pool and bar is mandatory which is why we looked at those two. If I was solo ID stay next to brothel action. I'm going next week and got an Airbnb with a private pool in Provenz for 1 night, It's called Viktory boutique. Guest friendly too.

Is the weather a factor?

I don't know where to post this. I am thinking of canceling or postponing a 3 week trip in April for Bogota, mostly in Medellin & Cartagena. Because of the flooding and coastal disasters. It's still 7 weeks away. Weather projections do not sound good.

Scopolamine, thieves and traffic won't deter me me but constant rain (streets flooding, historic rain etc.) Makes me wonder if the girls, outdoor trips and sightseeing will be accessible. I have read that beaches are closed currently. What do you guys think about Medellin in April? Will the sun come out? I don't want bad experiences due to the weather.

If you check the weather apps it lists as 60-80% every day all year, but usually short showers mostly late afternoon, some evenings. Just bering an umbrella or rain jacket & cap & you'll bet fine.

They are staying there but they whine and complain all the time about the PI. Why do they stay if they are dissatisfied? Because they are on a tight budget and they don't have a better place to go or they don't want to move away from what they know.

I would agree that if you put in the time and effort, you can find the type of girl that you want at the price range that you want but you may have to move away from just what you know. Guys like to complain about the girls hanging out in Park Lleras but they continue just doing the same time over and over again. If you are unhappy with one venue, it is time to move to another venue or option.

I went to Cartagena in April (just once) and the weather was fine. Quite hot, but not too much rain.

If you're worried about streets flooding, Bogota might be a better bet. I'm thinking because it has such a high altitude, flooding isn't much of a concern. But I could be wrong.

The water from the heavy storms in Cartagena always seems to take a while to totally dry off. Their water drainage system is not the best. I joke with my gal that the thing I like best about Cartagena is after a rain storm everyone can take out two orange traffic cones, place them on the road, and mark out their own private pool.

Thing is that storm two weeks ago was different. It was so intense all the flights were delayed. If you know the area where you wait for international flights leaving from Cartagena, it was so loaded up they were not letting anyone through security because of all the flight delays. They were beyond seating capacity in the back area. Fortunately, with my gal's persistence in getting me and a few others through customs, I made my flight. A lot of others got stranded as sadly their flights were cancelled.

That said, she and her daughter went to a pre-Carnivale party in Barranquilla last week and they were walking along the beach there. We talk almost every day and she showed me the weather today and it was back to usual. With Cartagena, you do get these short bursts of rain so the forecast may show rain, but typically it is over and done with.

I have been going every month or two for the last four or five years to Colombia, and I think this was just a one time thing though. I would not let it ruin any vacation plans. The forecasters do a great job with their 10 day forecasts but beyond that, you are better off letting history be your judge, and I do not know why 7 weeks from now things would be any different.

I have not changed my future travel plans at all and will be back in Cartagena in a few weeks.

I will ask next time we talk if the beaches are open, but I think she would have said something to me if they were still closed.

Some of the guys I know who are in Asia when there after living in Latin America. The pattern among some of them that I notice is they are there for the lower cost of living. I suspect the reluctance to leave has to do with the much greater distance from Europe and the Americas.

When the girls don't know each other I've found them to become jealous or more skeptical of the other girls hygiene and cleanliness, not to mention, less coordinated in their interactions with you. Also, some girls aren't truly attracted to women, despite agreeing to it. This has been across Costa Rica, Colombia, and Brazil.

Hotel nutibara prices are insane now, they are charging more then double for what they were charging few days ago and for me its not worth anymore (around 70 USD per night) , Can anyone suggest a place to stay near parque berrio which is Chica friendly and similar or better then Hotel nutribara?

I developed a sub-specialty of fucking sisters when I was living in Buenos Aires, did about twelve sets including a set of 3, and did threesomes with about half of them.
