I keep the time in Colombia under 180 days each year. It's not a problem for me to alternate each month between Colombia and the US. I usually spend a few days more than a month in the US to keep the total in Colombia under 180 days. My biggest problem is finding an apartment I like in Medellin for a reasonable price. One thing to keep in mind for anyone planning to stay 180 days, any part of a day in Colombia is considered a day when they are counting. In other words, if your passport is stamped one minute before midnight and you leave the next day, they count that as two days.

So I just wrapped my first visit to MDE a couple of weeks ago and am preparing a major report to share, but I wanted to drop a quick update that seems timely. In chatting with one of the ladies I met, I heard that in the last few days the city is majorly cracking down on everything happening around the Parque.
