Gentlemen, I'm an older gent with plans to relocate to Colombia after a few administrative matters are completed. I've been to Medellin a few times and I think I can get around there pretty well, including the language.

(Let's just say I'm solid intermediate and working on it). Here is the nature of my question:

I'm usually better at bringing girls to a love hotel or even my place (although I'm usually reluctant to do that on a first cita). In Medellin, you can build a Facebook list of ladies that could keep you busy for years, even if you saw one a day. What is the story with Bogota? My explorations suggest that Twitter is more popular and there are a few key sites and you can slowly build from there. I'm also on the mailing list for Photoprepagos but there doesn't seem to be the same easy on-line coquetry that exists in Medellin.

Of course, I have read about finding gold in the streets of Santa Fe and the large number of "clubs" in the area. Are there any other easier ways to start making connections (I use Tinder already). Just curious and thanks!

- Criminals like to work in groups.

- Don't rely on cops for protection. Watch out for yourself!

- Don't go out alone at night.

- Don't linger in bad parts of the neighborhood.

Economics.

- There are substantial discounts at 1 AM because girls have no other options.

- Always negotiate the prices. Be willing to state the price you want twice.

- Set the details of the deal clearly before the service is performed.

- Rappi is one option for food.

- Girls will tell you everything that you want to hear to maximize resource extraction.

On Taxis.

- Don't get into street taxis; you can either be scammed or robbed at gunpoint. Use the Apps that allows you to see reviews for riders. Double check on Google Maps to ensure that you're going in the right direction.

Necessary Prep.

- Make copies of important documents (passport, and ID) both online and off.

On Hotels.

- Don't let strangers into room. Call front desk to confirm.

- Taking the girl to your room could get your stuff robbed.

And.

Waiters won't bring you opened beer and certainly won't try to drug you with a pre opened beer.

The last occurrence of that was in 1986 before you were born so don't worry about it, doesn't happen.

I intend coming for a 6 week stay. I have a choice of flying in and out of Medellin or Bogota. I definitely want to stay in Medellin, would I miss much by not visiting Bogota at all. I'm referring to both chicas and also touristy stuff for a first timer.

Go to Craigslist Colombia. Go to Services. Go to all Services. Enter Catalina in the search box.
