The other day, I was in Centro to do some shopping and check out the Palacio National art gallery (it's great!) I saw a lot of cute shop-girls on the streets and in the commercial centers. I have a feeling that if I spent some time there running game during the day, there could be plenty of these civilian chicas easily up for P4 P or dates. I don't do street meat or chics off dating sites. I meet them on Facebook and these are mainly non pros, some who have never been with a gringo and you can tell because they don't know the pricing but 200 k is good enough for them because they are not part of that life. Speaking Spanish and having decent looks will help with non pros. As far as quality, if I'm paying for sex then I expect good sex. Do you like food that looks good but taste horrible? No you wouldn't. Same as sex. I'll take a 7 that's good in bed over a 10 that's horrible in bed any day of the week. Guys that are so concerned about a 10 over decent sex just shows they can't get attractive women without paying for them.

But still No, you don't need to live there or stay long term, you simply need to say NO even to the high quality, not necessarily settle for the first gem you find, as they have dozens and dozens of them, and move on to the next high quality if your requirements are not met, or simply to the next girl, have some social skills and BASIC Spanish to engage again and again. Facebook and Instagram have plenty baddies, you are already an easy mark because you need to settle and score ASAP. And they know that about most gringos, based on how you act with them, those little 'nice guys cues' only command upcharge. This guy likes me, even thirst over me, afraid to shoot his shot elsewhere, WHY the hell the girl wouldn't ask you a higher rate? Most gringos act pretty much the same, have the exact same 'short trip' 'high quality seeking' speech. Years ago you wouldn't have to do much, nor haggle on prices much, but unfortunately, years after, its like that now, because Americans talk and act out too much, it's like they're on a mission to ruin it for themselves and others. They can't leave their phones behind, they just have to record and blast it on socials, they do it with every place they set foot at. And in 90% of countries I have been to, same comments as of how they're disliked. I wonder why. The 10% that like them is the USA.

It would seem that all I need to do is lower my standards a couple notches (for beauty anyway), stick to 200 k, and then use the shotgun blast approach on FB as opposed to being selective. Surely some will bite. I'll try that my next trip.

Unless you live there with time to really nurture these things, getting a legit hottie w / good service for 200 k is quite unlikely.

Of course, if you're young, handsome, and speak Spanish, you might not have to pay at all (at least outside of Poblado). But then you'd have no problem finding hotties to bone for nothing in the US or wherever you're from.

300-400 k for a hot looking chica is about right as long as she does what you want.

Thank me later.[/QUOTE]I tried to explore Carrera 45 on Google Maps ((assume this is La 45?) as it runs through Manrique and I noticed it seems to be pedestrian only or some thing? A lot of the side streets basically get blocked off from letting cars enter by a curb or or metal poles coming out of the ground an the sidewalk does not stop at the side streets either so it makes more since that maybe they put a tram through there or buses?

So if Carrera 45 is La 45 about which Calle does it start and about where does it end?

My opinion is giving money to a girl for taxis is obsolete. I feel the same about taxis in general but that's beside the point. I don't always pay for transport. When I do, my practice is to offer a one way or round trip uber or didi. Besides the mostly lower cost vs taxis for the same trips, you don't have to guess when the girl will arrive because you can track the trip real time. I don't see the point in handing over 10,000 or more pesos to girls who sometimes pay a 3,300 peso bus or metro fare and pocket the rest. Just yesterday I had to put my foot down and ban motorcycle trips. One of my regulars showed up in great distress. She told me she nearly died when a panel truck cut off her motorcycle uber. We used to argue about her using motos to beat traffic jam. After the near death experience she now sees it my way.

The signs show deaths along the road where they are displayed (Las Palmas, La Oriental, autopista regional etc). You would have to add the totals to get the citywide number and you are quite right, that number is very high. The best thing I can say about Colombian drivers is they are not Dominican drivers. I have to talk myself out of getting my own car every other week or so because I'm so sick of their silly and dangerous driving habits.
