Likewise local places are off limits for some foreigners or there is a foreigner tax. Japan and China are typical examples.

What I am suggesting is there are lots of venues. Don't let it spoil your day, if you really want to get in, there is usually a way (as per Wildhawk's offer or $). Some guys are willing to help each other out. I have actually had to stay longer because some lonely business type wants a wing man while I just wanted to chill. I have escorted more than my fair share of ladies into some of the Bali discos (though not always successfully). Personally, NM and NIII have too many full time harder core DH / WG to browse through. I usually only stay for one drink. They start to look like village bicycles.

Also seen some blokes who just hang around with others who buy drinks (and girls) and manage to stay. Not sure which group your friends fall under.

You only have to buy one or two drinks per visit. Some guys refuse to buy a water which costs $20 at Makati. They are watched and then either barred from the bar or asked to pay an entrance fee.

And then there are the guys who Buy one drink sit at a table. And drink from others glasses / bottles on the tables.

Further to the post from YLDUDE about getting a notice from security when entering Neptune 11. No soliciting for immoral purposes.

Apparently Nep 11 is running on 3 month liquor licence renewals. It is normally every 12 months. Apparently some bodies are concerned with the bar. It is costing NEP 11 big legal fees.

Think they are being careful but business is down.

And this is why there are less ladies. Mainly Indo ladies.
