Hi guys,
I'm traveling to Thailand next year for a few weeks holiday with my friend. It's to see what would be better Bangkok or Pattaya around The start of July.
Thank you.
Chiang Mai and Loy Kroh St. Is far better than Pattaya or Patpong! The girls are stunners and cheaper. There will be so many you won't know whether to shit or go blind!
Also I have a bridge for sale on the Ping River going cheap. (As used in the famous war movie, 'Bridge on the River Kwaai'.)

Thank you.
July is the hot and wet season (and I am not just talking about the girls! If this is your first (mongering) trip to Thailand, I'd suggest you go to both places and sample what is on offer. Personally I am more fond of the agogo clubs in Bangkok, but Pattaya is something you have to experience as well. Who knows, maybe you like the sleaziness of Soi 6 or the convenience of Beach Road more than the eye-candy in an agogo club.

Tourist I'd's
"just weeks after two british tourists were found murdered on a thai beach, the country's tourism minister wants to tag all future visitors with identification bracelets. the next step would be some sort of electronic tracking device but this has not yet been discussed in detail," she said, as well as a potential program that would pair tourists with a local "minder. " you know, just like when you visit north korea. " the i'd tags would make it much easier for locals to assist lost, drunk, or otherwise out of it tourists.

regarding the murder, "a british student found dead in thailand was raped by two men while another watched before she was murdered, police have said. two different semen samples collected from her body are the basis for dna analysis being used to test hundreds of men.
Khaaaap! So lets spend millions of baht on a ridiculous, '1984' monitoring system that would send what few brave tourists we have remaining, scampering across the border, any border, but the Landof Stupid, really really very stupid, ideas. They should be spending money updating all their prehistoric immigration forms, with no spaces for email or even phone number, but which you MUST put on there anyway, then get them online, revamp the 'reporting system' make investing in their country more 'farang freindly' in general, and re-think the 'extension of stay' system to be more practical and less costly to maintain. Tagging visitors is the most insane idea ever, what are we, the juntas racing pigeons?

How much would this cost to provide all the bracelets and track everyone. How many drunk tourist will get together and play a game of 'who can get theirs off first'. They would need to be waterproof and not set of the detectors at the airports for those taking domestic flights.
I like the idea of making it easier for local to assist tourist. I mean really, as if tourist aren't easy enough to spot and rob / scam. Why not have them glow to different intensities depending on how much money you have on you so the muggers don't waste time or poor tourists. On the bright side, you could go out partying and get really drunk, then phone the police and ask them to pick you up. You wouldn't even need to know where you were!

Condoms
Just wondering what the quality of condoms you buy there. The pharmacy is the place to buy in BKK, I presume. I plan to bring many, just never know if you need more.

I always brought enough so I did not check it out in detail. Perhaps they are made for "Asian" size?

If he is serious what could mean for the action in Thailand?
Nothing. Thai history and culture is based on the whole concept of women as 'relaxation aides' for a male society, that's why they are so naturally charming deferring and also flirty. It was unworkable, and in a lovely twist of irony. HE is in exile in the UAE one of the most un-fun places this side of Mecca. Hope He's sucking it up! Women have more economic power now, there are more women in uni in Thailand than men, more female CEOs than any other nation, and hey we just had a female PM.
So if you think things are not going to be different 5, 10,15 yrs from now. I got news for you. They are already way different than they were 10 years ago. Salaries are such that office gals don't have to moonlight as P4 P gals anymore. Really restaurant staff don't either. Most of the P4 P gals now are ones that are just too lazy or too dumb to do anything else.

Some Bangkok hospitals are among the words best, the supermarkets sell virtually anything you can get at home plus stuff from other first world markets you may never have seen. At the risk of sounding a bit queer, if you have ever seen ladyboys in heat, you will understand that a significant portion of Thai males are as big as some black dudes. Asian size condoms are for China and Japan markets.

Caught!
"burmese men behind deaths of british backpackers reconstruct scene of murder.
it was a strange scene on the island of koh tao. the two burmese men who confessed to killing two british backpackers on a thai beach were forced to reconstruct the murder, sky news reported. the reenactment is a typical practice used by thai police, according to newser.com. hannah witheridge, 23, died from head wounds on sairee beach while david miller, 24, died from drowning and a blow to the head from a garden hoe. the sick men behind the killing murdered miller in an act of "sexual jealousy," according to the thai police chief.
according to footage, the handcuffed suspects identified as win, 21, and saw, 23, of myanmar walk through the murder wearing motorcycle helmets and police vests on sairee beach. police surround them, and hundreds of locals and tourists gawk at the bizarre sight. one suspect can be seen talking to officers while he walks from the sea to the beach, brandishing a large tool to apparently replicate the garden hoe. the peculiar reconstruction also included a fake witheridge and miller, and the imposters walked along the beach with their arms around each other. the dangerous duo copped to killing the young tourists during police interrogation.
"the suspects saw them kissing and were aroused, so they attacked and got rid of the man and proceeded to [CodeWord123] the female victim," said national police chief somyot poompanmoung, adding there was "clear evidence" including witness testimony and forensic evidence.
dna of the two men match that found in witheridge, police said, after samples were collected from more than 100 men on the island. provincial police chief kiattipong khaosamang said the two men also admitted [CodeWord125] witheridge. ".

"the victims were david miller, 24, and hannah witheridge, 23. they were relaxing on the beach when the men, who had been drinking, allegedly set upon them, authorities said. police said they raped the woman repeatedly before bashing her head with a hoe and killing her, according to the bangkok post. authorities told reporters that the man appeared to have been beaten with the hoe first and dragged into the sea while alive. they said there was evidence that he died by drowning. one of the men worked at a resort hotel and the other at a restaurant near the crime scene.
the bangkok post noted that thai authorities "are frequently accused of framing migrants" from myanmar and cambodia "for crimes in the kingdom. "police insist they are not scapegoating anyone for the murders. both public officials and koh tao residents seem anxious to put the sordid scenes of the past 19 days behind them," said the paper. ".

" which is a highly recommended book for anyone interested in the early development of forensic dna evidence. the cops basically took blood from everybody in a small town in the uk.
there is one thing about some tourists that never ceases to amaze me, and that's how you can travel to a foreign land and never study anything about local culture beforehand.
just a few years ago, a couple of russian chicks were killed on jomtien by a local. one of the thai papers had pix of the bodies sitting on a beach chair. they were shot by some local pos. but these two rocket scientists were drinking until the very wee hours with these local guys, alone, on a dark beach. we can guess what lead up to the shootings.
many times i've seen some euro-broad show up at some beach, strip down to her bathing suit bottoms and go for a swim. this may play in europe, but in sea, parts of the caribbean, parts of mexico, etc. , etc. , it's highly frowned upon and highly insulting to the locals. it also give the impression that all farang women are hos and sluts.
now we have a couple going at it hot and heavy on a secluded beach, in a country where, until very recently, men and women didn't even hold hands in public. how is this a good idea?
while i deplore this act of senseless violence, and i'd be happy to pull the lever on these two cretins, we still all need to take responsibility for how we act in a foreign country and to avoid potentially dangerous situations. a little research would have probably saved these two kids' lives.
