Most pro in Bali are not Balinese most are from Java alot of the pro in SkyGarden are from Jarkata and Badung ask more than Jarkata price most want 1. 5 mil and up for long time, for mongering Jarkata got all you need Bali is for tourist.

It was my understanding from being in the X houses that 200,000 was for 1 hour no matter what. Even after my hour was up I voluntarily decided to leave and had to go hunt the papasan down to give him the money. Did you give the full payment after only a 10 minute session or did you prorate it? Tell me you didn't pay upfront and get ripped off.

Going to thailand starting Dec. 1st to 30th. I realize it is the "High Season" but what sort of price hikes can I expect? A 50% increase in everything? Will SG charge me significantly more due to the season or just a bit? If a private hostel goes from 8 $ to 12 $ I don't find that very intimidating.

So let's calculate (basis is 25 working days per month):
* basic wages: 1000 baht.
* drinks commission: 10000 baht (assuming this is the commission she gets on her ladydrinks, say 50 baht / ladydrink, it means 200 LD per month or 8 drinks per day).
* Customer Assigments: 40,000 baht (I assume this is the mamasan's 'cut' of the barfine, say 150 baht per barfine or a little over 10 barfines per night).
If it was a Bangkok or Pattaya position, I'd say it is not impossible to make that kind of money. But in Chiang Mai?
If the job offer is for a bargirl, the "customer assignment" must mean the fees she can negotiate with her farang. At 1500 baht for ST that is still 1 or 2 "assignments" per night, each and every day and we all know that is unlikely (or all the bars would be empty before closing time).
Anyhow, it is a bit disingenuous to present this all as "salary" the bar "offers" her. Actually the bar only pays her 1000 baht per month, which is enough to buy one serving of street food.

I just write pretty straight stuff and have little imagination. I have not mongered in Bali and understand that Javanese girls are probably far superior looking to Balinese. When I was in Bali, a long time ago, I thought that older normal Balinese girls were not that attractive, well below Thai standards. So I did not get the hots for any Balinese girls. Face shape was probably wrong for my taste. Although Bali was a very cheap holiday destination, nothing made me think I would return, and that was before the various adverse news about Bali bombings, drug plants, etc. And if you get sick or have accident, you don't want to go to a Denpasar hospital, right? I heard it wasn't a very good standard.
Normally I try not to focus on the negative, but Bali has nothing to interest me. I would certainly rather go to other parts of Indonesia. As I am not that enthused by Chinese looks, for the most part, Indonesia is likely to suit me better, or maybe not. I did once meet a very pretty Indonesian/Chinese girl (perhaps mixed girl) with a great body.
On a tangent now:
I tend to think of chinese girls as mostly having round or shapeless faces, slit-like eyes, straight bodies, poor waist to thigh ratios. White skin is of no importance. This may be a misconception. The very top girls may be better. Perhaps Guangzhou and Hong Khong were not the best places in China. Singapore girls looked better though. If I have to work in China, obviously I will try Macau. I attach a pic of typical Chinese looks and note that they don't look attractive to me. Completely wrong face shapes. I like narrow faces. I make exception for Chinese actress Shu Qi who is fairly cute for me, despite fairly narrow eyes.
Its probable that I am suited to real natural Thai looks of the narrow faced, non broad-nosed variety, and skin shade doesn't matter that much, small waist, skinny thighs with good gap and firm asses. Tit size not important. I like to see this type of girl dancing naked in Crazy House. Its a sickness. LOL
