Civilians
Bros,
Among the civilians (my area of interest) there are those truly seeking love; those who are seeking love but wouldn't mind some fun along the way; some looking for an escape to a foreign land; the ones seeking friendship and hoping they'll find love but don't mind some fun and a few just looking to have fun. Then there are some looking for something but they haven't made up their minds yet. I can't count the number who've expressed interest in me (and my profile is pretty clear that I'm not serious) yet when I check their profile, they're looking for marriage. So go figure. Within all these categories, there are some who expect oleh oleh (presents) and some who don't. Some who want to go out partying, and others who want to have a romantic dinner (plus a few who just want to come to your hotel room and have a good seeing to). Cheapest date: just about zero (I still give the minimum of chocolates). Most expensive date: 4 Million rupiahs plus shopping (she was regular and it wasn't every time that we went shopping or went out like that. Nice restaurant plus out for drinks and clubbing). My average date cost is around 200-500k depending on the person and the restaurant we go to.
Incidentally, if you do have a date, it's a hell of a lot cheaper going out for drinks and clubbing in Kemang rather than in BATS / CJs etc. Places like Dragonfly will kill your budget. The "normal" clubs are generally cheaper than the FL clubs for drinks but just check before you walk in. A simple indicator being the price of a bottle of vodka: if it's around 2 million and up, then you know the drinks are going to slaughter you. I think the club in Crowne Plaza (Retro?) is cheaper but not an FL joint last time I went. I don't dare comment on the price of drinks further than that as it's not really my area of expertise (although I've fallen prey to buying the odd Long Island for a girl here and there). If in doubt. Or you're lazy to read and take in the advice here. Seek the services of JAD.
MD II
I am a long time contributor to ISG. (see my Seoul reports from January 2013 as example). My first time to INDO will be June 23-30. 3 days Medan for biz. 4 days Jakarta for fun. I RTFF extensively but have decided to go the civilian route this time. My IndoCupid profile is very clear about who I am (over 50, married) and what I want (short term, physical). I had no luck in the past with KoreaCupid and only 2 takers from JapanCupid, but in a few weeks my IndoCupid profile has generated almost 150 incoming interests, about half of whom are quite do-able for me. I am quite amazed at the difference. I have what appear to be solid commitments to very specific and graphic activities from at least 8 of the good ones I have followed up with. It seems that being Caucasian is a definite advantage, where it was a handicap in Kor and Jap.
There are a few pros on the IndoCupid site that make it very clear what they are offering. But I have stuck to the ones who at least appear to be true civilians. Its amazing how many divorced / separated women there are in their 20's.
QUESTION / ADVICE: I am scheduled to stay at the JW Marriott. (I have 3 free nights for points and it has also impressed some of the women that I am legit). Is the security too tight there for me to bring women in and out?
I promise I will give detailed FRs

I've stayed at the JW Marriott a few times, it's a nice hotel and the restaurant's evening buffet is a bargain; breakfast is included in the room price and is also good. And yes, you'll impress the ladies when they find out you are staying there, that's one reason why it always pays to stay in a decent hotel in Jakarta (instead of staying in a backpacker-type place on Jalan Jaksa).
Not surprised to read that you are finding numerous divorced / separated Indonesian women who are in their 20s.
I am looking forward to your reports!

If only I was a bule, I could do some serious "damage"; as an Asian, I am somewhat more limited in my scope. As MS said below, most hotels in Jakarta are GF and JW Marriott is very nice. It is a luxury for most of the girls to stay in such a place too, and they do appreciate being able to sample the feeling. I too have excess points available for use there, but I'm still somewhat paranoid about staying there after the bombings - but that's just my personal issue. I look forward to your FRs. Don't forget to obscure the face if you post photos of "civilians".

Dancers in D's (2)
Your experience is somewhat different from mine. I had several of the young dancers in the VIP-room and the first action was always removal of all clothes and full DFK, fingering and groping allowed. Usually it was two of the young girls taking turns (with my permission) and in December I had one go all the way. See FR I posted in January. Only the last time the older girls try to butt in. Most of the girls in the bar are outside my preferred age and looks range.
Regards,
Ko
To follow up: In which D's Place in what town were you?
Last night I went to D's Place in Jl. Felatehan in Jakarta just to have a few drinks and chat up a barmaid. Meanwhile I took a good look (very pleasant) at the dancing crew. At least four of the young ones have accompanied me to the VIP-room on various occasions, one of them twice and the second time I fucked her. All the girls got fully undressed immediately upon entering the "private" corner and allowed full manual inspection as well as DFK. I never took any of the wandering harpies from the bar to the VIP-room.

Ko

Oscars
As I left D's yesterday evening I took a Bluebird (ordered by phone) and as we left he went against the one-way traffic direction. When I asked why the driver told me the street was closed off by police because of a bomb warning in Oscars. He blamed FPI for this.
Quite possible, because these idiots had been busy in Jakarta all day, blocking traffic on the Sudirman which caused a tailback all the way to Harmoni. Never saw anything like it. They probably went looking for an easy target after that.
There was nothing in the Jakarta Post this morning about a bomb scare. Will ask in J. Pelatehan.

Ko

Also, if I can push my luck. My first time to Jakarta and my research points to mostly massage bars. I am more interested in free lancers that I can bring back to the hotel. Prefer to go to a club / bar, enjoy some music and I am very vain. Looks are important. Any suggestions please?

While it's tempting to ignore you, I'll respond with some info. If you read the post by Koperen Karel that's located just two posts down from yours, you're quickly learn that "D's Place" is a bar on Jalan Faletehan (Jalan means Street) in the Blok M part of Jakarta (south of downtown, north of the Kemang area). This street has several bars where young (and a few not-so-young) freelance ladies will vie for your attention and money.
You can also pick up free lance girls at some 5-star-hotel bars, such as the BATS bar at the Shangri-La, the Tiga Puluh bar at Hotel Le Meridien, the bar at Hotel Mulia and others. The girls working these bars tend to charge more than the Blok M girls; however, oftentimes, the same girl who's asking for 2 million rupiah at BATS at 10 pm can be found later in the evening at D's Place or one of the other bars on that street, willing to settle for a much lower amount of money, such as 500,000 or 600,000 rupiah.
You can also find girls by mall-hunting. RTFF for more info or check out some old posts by esteemed Senior Member Bulai69 (they are referred to in a post under "Reports of Distinction")
Price inflation is becoming an issue. Please don't overpay, but also don't be a cheap Charlie and expect that the girls will go home for pennies.
Having said that, several posts here discuss "freebies" found on IndoCupid or similar web dating sites. RTFF and youll learn more.
And don't dismiss the massage places. Every man deserves at least once in their life a 2-girl full-body massage at Kartika Spa, one alley south of the interesection of Jalan Manggga Besar and Jalan Hayam Wurk in the northern part of town. Choose the girl of your choice and let her pick the second girl.
If you're striking out once you arrive here, contact Jakarta After Dark (found in the advertisers section) who can guarantee that anyone can get laid during their visit to Jakarta.
I look forward to reading your field reports.

I went to BATS (Shangri La) last night and there were mostly 5s and 6s, but there were 2 that were drop dead 10s (in my book). Unfortunately, they were taken. So, had to settle for an 8. Was ok. Only because of the fake moaning. Damage 1 Million rupiah.
Again, appreciate the quick response back.

I thought D's was a code name for something else and I was searching this forum up and down to find out what the original name was. Did not occur to me the name itself was D's place.

MD II
Hi MD:
I did get the hint and I did post an FR. Sorry if I am not as eloquent as others. I just shared my experience in KL on that thread. In response to yours.
I do agree that I should contribute first before seeking help and will do my best to do so going forward.

Jakarta. CJ bar. Mulia
Hi guys,
Was at CJ's bar in the Mulia Hotel yesterday. (Thursday) started to get pretty crowded around 23h00. A pretty good amount of girls avaiilable and quality ranged from 5-8 on a scale of 1-10. Did not see 9's or 10's. I guess there were some 150 guests and one third of them were girls. My experience: with some insistence and negation you can get a girl to spend ST (1 hour or max 2 hours) for 1M rupiahs. (some 75 Euros or 100 USD). Take your time to chose a girl, chat a bit with them and you may find a 7-8 with some GFE. Just be nice to them. Make some jokes, treat them well, and they will do the same for you. Still got to say it. Thailand is better.
Enjoy,
