This post is an overview of the Cartagena (CTG) leg of my first trip to Colombia; I spent a week in CTG in early September 2016. Please see my previous posts, in which I provided an overview of my trip, compared my experiences in Medellin (MDE) and CTG, and described my first week in MDE. I will break my CTG reporting up into thematic installments, as my experiences there covered a wider range of chicas and venues than my time in MDE, where the Mansion was the focus of my mongering.

I chose to visit CTG after MDE because my pre-trip research indicated that the MDE mongering scene would be more rewarding than that of CTG and I planned to do more non-mongering things in CTG. I mongered less in CTG because my manhood and leche needed time to recover from my overindulgence at the Mansion and because the CTG mongering scene yielded less favorable results than that of MDE. I had lower expectations for CTG mongering, based on my pre-trip research, but my actual experiences there were even less fruitful than I expected, so I mongered even less than I had originally planned.

I rented an apartment, per standard CTG mongering procedure. I nonetheless stayed in the Old City, rather than Bocagrande or El Laguito, for a combination of mongering and non-mongering reasons. My pre-trip research suggested that the only major advantage of Bocagrande and El Laguito (for me) would have been proximity to two of CTG's primary mongering venues: La Dolce Vita (LDV) and Playa Hollywood. My pre-trip research did not persuade me that those two venues were appealing enough to drive the location of my rental (and my actual experiences at both venues were even worse than I had anticipated). I was aware that Juan Ventura's chica-friendly apartment rentals in El Laguito might have yielded better value for the money, in terms of the apartment itself, but the three most important things in real estate are location, location, and location. As a resident of Lower Manhattan, I am used to paying a lot more money for a rental in the right location and had no problem doing so in CTG either.

The Old City struck me as a more appealing location not only for its historic character and atmosphere but also due to its greater proximity to other mongering venues that sounded more appealing to me, such as the Clock Tower area and Isis. This choice of location ultimately served me well from a logistical perspective, as did the rental itself. I rented an apartment that I found through non-mongering websites after I determined that I would not have any problems bringing chicas there. The apartment satisfied me and fulfilled my needs well enough; I would stay there again if I were to return to CTG.

In general, I found CTG chicas less attractive than their MDE counterparts. Many of the CTG chicas that I found the most attractive were from MDE. The exception to this generally lower level of attractiveness was in the two CTG strip clubs, Isis and Pleyclub, which may have been because Colombian strip clubs may tend to hire chicas that are a better fit for my body type preferences. I would say that the hottest CTG chicas were at the strip clubs, followed by LDV and then the Clock Tower.

What disappointed me most about CTG chicas was not their appearance but their attitude. The "meet & greet" aspect of Latin American mongering, which enables you to get to know a chica, figure out if there is chemistry, and build pre-session rapport, is a key aspect of what I enjoy about it. CTG was much weaker in this regard, as the chicas there tended to get right down to business and pop the question before I was ready to decide. This tendency encourages you to either walk away or pull the trigger prematurely. When I tried to slow them down, they frequently resisted or gave me an attitude, as if I was wasting their time. This tendency to rush was also evident in some actual sessions and was probably why some of the chicas that I pulled performed so poorly.

The quality of my CTG mongering experiences ranged from fantastic to terrible. I used the word "experiences" rather than "sessions" because I had to abort three sessions with CTG chicas due to payment issues, so I cannot comment on the quality of their service (if they actually intended to provide any service at all). All but one of the independent chicas that I brought to my apartment asked for payment up front, which I always refused, explaining that I would pay them when we were done. Their reactions to my stance ranged from immediate acceptance without further discussion to a threat to call the police. Payment issues loomed so large over my CTG trip that I will devote a separate post to it.

I shopped around a lot in the week that I was there – perhaps more than I should have, because my subsequent shopping did not yield any chicas that were better than the four gems that I pulled in my first nights there. In retrospect, perhaps I should have "wifed up" with one or more of those four gems for the remainder of my trip instead of continuing to shop around. I did a TLN with one of those four gems on my last full night in CTG and a 1-hour repeat with another one of them (which, in retrospect, I wish had been a TLN as well). I would have repeated with another one of those four gems, but she returned to Venezuela in the middle of my trip; I have been kicking myself ever since for not extending our 1-hour session into a TLN. My recommendation is that when you find good chicas in CTG, stick with them instead of continuing to shop around, because CTG has a high proportion of malicious chicas and poor performers.

Finding the right chicas in CTG consumed a lot more of my time, energy, patience, and money (that is, the logistical costs of searching for them, not just their higher session rates) than in MDE. Many of the key mongering venues in CTG do not get busy until late at night, which can be an obstacle if you are not a night person or you have to wake up early in the morning (as I did for my scuba diving). The most cost-effective venue, which yielded the most consistently favorable results for me, was Tinder, which also enabled me to schedule sessions at earlier hours that suited my schedule better.

200 K COP appeared to be a typical hourly rate at which independent CTG chicas start negotiations, as I heard that figure far more frequently than any other. I found that when a chica asked for more than 200 K, it was usually for one of two reasons. The first reason was that she was unusually hot (or thought that she was unusually hot). The second reason was that all but one of them that was willing to provide BBBJ asked for an additional "surcharge" for it; only one chica did not ask for a BBBJ "surcharge," and she was one of the best performers that I found in CTG. The BBBJ "surcharges" ranged from 30 K to 70 K COP. The high end of the typical hourly rate range was 280-300 K COP.

Only one chica made a serious quote for a higher hourly rate – 400 K COP. I told her that her quote was unusually high, even for CTG, to which she responded by acknowledging that her target rate was significantly above-market because she was so much more beautiful than the other chicas (I immediately walked away). Another chica tried to pull the "I meant dollars, not pesos" scam on me by trying to turn our previously agreed 200 K COP rate into $200 USD, which I thwarted (I will report that incident separately). Only one other chica asked for payment in USD instead of COP (at the more reasonable rate to which we had agreed beforehand); she indicated that she preferred USD because USD would be more valuable for her to bring back to Venezuela (this chica was top-notch, by the way).

I sampled a wide array of CTG mongering options – in fact, almost all of the major venues and chica types except casas, the business model of which may not be the best fit for my mongering preferences, as I discovered in MDE. I had my best results with Venezuelans and Tinder users. I had my worst results with Playa Hollywood and LDV. I will elaborate on my experiences at these different venues and with different chica types in separate posts.

The two best independent chicas that I pulled in my week-long stay in Cartagena (CTG) were both Venezuelans. They indicated that they had come to CTG due to the dire economic conditions in Venezuela, so they must have been part of the broader wave of Venezuelan chicas that have been fanning out across the Caribbean in search of a better life. I believe that the superior experiences that I had with them could reflect a trend that I also observed with Nicaraguans in Costa Rica and Haitians in the Dominican Republic: chicas from poorer neighboring countries often provide better experiences, as they may be hungrier (perhaps literally, in the case of Venezuela) for work and more eager to please.

One of these two Venezuelan chicas was my first successful CTG pull. She introduced herself to me as Shaina in person, but her Tinder profile (which I found later by chance) identified her as Maria, age 26. She is black and somewhat on the taller side, slender and athletic, but with enough flesh in the right places to please a tits & ass man like me, juicy lips, and straight hair. She displayed a simply elegant beauty that immediately caught my eye late on a Saturday night / Sunday morning at Space, when she wore a white dress and bore a soothing smile. We immediately clicked and agreed to a 1-hour session at my nearby Old City apartment. She asked that I pay her in USD, rather than COP, as she indicated that USD would be more valuable for her to bring back to Venezuela. I would also add that she was the ONLY independent chica that I pulled in CTG who did not at least try to get paid up front.

Maria / Shaina wanted a higher rate for BBBJ, which I found was typical of those chicas in CTG who are willing to provide BBBJ (a slight majority stick to CBJ). This higher rate turned out to be a good investment, as she gave me one of the best blowjobs that I have had in a long time – worthy of a porn star. The full-service was also high-quality, particularly when she rode me on top with her legs parallel to mine, not around my waist or thighs– a great position for her. The feel of her soft, silky flesh against mine was delightful, both before and after the main event, when she cuddled with me – good GFE and a very nice girl in general. I did another 1-hour session with her later that week, when I ran into her by chance at the Clock Tower and did not see any other viable prospects. My second Venezuelan chica was my first CTG pull from Tinder: Mailin, 32. Her profile photos impressed me enough that I sent her a "Super Like. " She is tall and thick with serious tits & ass (the former turned out to be silicone, but of high quality), a long, full, and curly blonde mane that extends down to her big booty, exotic facial features, and juicy lips. She liked me back and sent me her phone number for further communication via WhatsApp. She asked for a reasonable rate and offered BBBJ at no extra charge (the only chica in that I pulled in CTG who did so). I made an early evening appointment, for which she arrived two minutes early– a punctual chica! She greeted me with a kiss and told me that I looked better than my Tinder profile pictures. She did ask if I could pay her up front, but I explained that I would pay her at the end of the session, which she immediately accepted without further discussion, and she did not even ask for a tip or taxi money when I did pay her at the end.

Her DFK and BBBJ were good, but her full service was out of this world. I found two other Venezuelans in CTG that I did not pull. One was at the Clock Tower on my first night in town (a Saturday). Her name escapes me, but she was younger (early 20's), short, and thick with large and natural-looking tits & ass, shoulder-length brown hair, and a cute face. I passed when she insisted on CBJ at an hourly rate (300 K COP) that I felt was too high for that level of service; she was really hot, though. Another was Eleguasita, a thick blonde Tinder user in her 30's with big tits & ass. She offered a more reasonable rate, but I broke off contact with her because she had an online conniption when I asked her if she offered BBBJ (she did not).

Has anyone else encountered Venezuelan chicas in CTG, and were your results consistent with mine?

Don't know much at all about this service, but the photos are really impressive. I bit more than normal prices ($120-$130 an hour), but if the quality is what they advertise would be worth it for an agency. Will let everyone knows how it goes.
