Seems you may have done one 3 day trip to santo domingo and based on those 3 days you make the assertion that the north coast is better than santo domingo (Santiago is not considered the north coast). If I thought mongering was better on the north coast, I would travel there. I have no plans to re-visit Sosua or Puerto Plata (I saw nothing spectacular in Gasper Hernandez) and doubt I will ever spend much time in those places in the future. I will return to samana, which is on the north coast of the DR.

I appreciate your report and your opinions. I am always open to changing my mind about mongering destinations. If you could provide more detailed info on the north coast regarding p4p, semi-pros, non-pros, venues, bars, discos, hotels, prices and other places of interest with photos, it would be useful.
