I paid another visit to Consolacion this afternoon to meet up with one of the girls I met there about 3 weeks ago. It was a good day out, and it's always good to finish off a session with one of the local girls with a nice creampie.

It was imposed 3 months ago, in February, but was lifted two days ago.

Not all bars are open, 301 Ramos St Sports Bar and The Philly (used to be called All Star Sports Bar) were open yesterday, but Marshalls Bar, Semi-Final Sports Bar and Bamboozers Bar (all on Mango) were closed yesterday. I was out on Mango last night at 10 pm and was approached by a freelancer outside the National Book Store (just up from Marshalls Bar), I had a little chat with her, not bad looking but I did not go with her, she was by herself.

The cinemas and nightclubs are still closed and have been since March of last year. Cebu City is still under MGCQ. There are 4 categories of quarantine in the Philippines, ECQ, MECQ, GCQ and MGCQ with ECQ being the most severe and MGCQ being the least restrictive.

During the day the roads are very busy, with lots of people and traffic on the roads. The overnight curfew from 11 pm to 5 am is still in place so all restaurants and bars have to close at 10/10. 30 pm. At 10.30 pm it's like a ghost town.

The overnight curfew has been in place now in Cebu City since March last year. Having to be indoors at 11 pm is like being 15 years old again when your parents would not let you stay out late!

The sooner they open up to tourists again the sooner they can get the economy moving again.

I went to Mango last night and to my surprise one of the Norwegian bikini bars were open. I went inside and there were lots of girls (some of them used to be freelancers around national book store area) yet very few customers. Nobody was dancing thus the general atmosphere felt like a sports bar much more than a bikini bar. That was 8-9 PM on a weekday. I should revisit on a Saturday night to see if the atmosphere is any better. I was told they open afternoon until 10 PM. Prices were beer 75. Ladydrinks 300. And barfines 3000. Although it doesn't make sense to barfine the same girls that used to work as freelancers for 1 k maximum.

Anyway it was nice to see a sign of the old life, although I don't think the current economical situation will allow several bars to open.
