Please excuse me from deviating from the subject & I realise this post is of no relevance to general mongering, but trust the replies from knowledgable members will be an added asset to the forum in general.

Can some members kindly recommend some reputed hotels/private establishments for taking a GF on a day-room morning to evening basis? I guess the primary criteria would be:

1) Tourist board approved, within Colombo city limits

2) Parking

3) A/C rooms

4) Attached bathroom

5) Contact number & price of establishsment (if well-known, need not mention contact number, can access same from yellow pages)

5) Finally, inconspicuous location, to avoid contacts with relatives, especially the GF's :)

I used to trust GOH and Tropicana, but with the high security situation in Fort, and the drop in Tropicana room quality, looking for alternatives.

IMHO, Thailand is always better than Singapore but if you want a true GFE experience in Thailand, then go up to Chiangmai. The girls are stunning up there and less worn out from the trade than they would be in Bangkok or Phuket.

Re your question regarding STD transmission by oral sex. The common STD's like Syphillis and Gonorrhoea can be transmitted. HIV is less likely to be transmitted though there are some questionable reports. The clinics I do not know but a Doctor can get the blood tests and a smear done.

I think the free government STD clinic is on De Saram Road near the General Hospital. You can get an appointment with a specialist in STD on echannelling.com . You have to give your ID card number or passport number at Echannelling, but I am pretty sure that they would respect confidentiality.
