It's terribly stupid to pay 120 dollar. You are doing bad business for other. EVERY girl in SR will go for 30 dollar ST. LT 40 dollar and EVERY girl will be VERY happy. And SR is still expensive for Cambodia. Please don't go back there unless you learn to handle the business and stop ruining it for other.

We all like a good deal. No doubt about that. But by paying the minimum for sex and protesting when someone pays well, what are you actually saying. Are you saying that these poor girls who lower themselves to being with (often) fat disgusting old western men (not me! Do not deserve to get good money? Especially in Asia where a lot of the local males are totally disrespectful to females and have terrible hygiene and do not clean themselves after doing what we politely call No. 2's. Yes, I pay more than necessary sometimes, but I also paid $130+ for the meal. IS she worth less than a meal? How degrading can you be? I think sometimes we forget about the girls and I know I have been guilty of what is really a disgusting attitude towards these girls. I would prefer to give this girl a bit too much and make her life a bit happier. I would prefer that she did not have to work again for a few days or maybe weeks.
I remember what it felt like to get some extra cash when I was poor. It made me happy. I liked that feeling and I love giving it to others. This is not all about us. Think about the girls. They give us a lot and make us happy. Sure, if they cheat you on time or if they do a bad job, keep the payments as low as possible. But if they are warm and lovely and make you smile and feel good then treat them like a princess and do what you can for them.
And please don't tell me where I can and can't go. I am flying back there soon and will hopefully find the same girl or someone better. I'll be tough in the massage shops where the girls are ruthless and generous with anyone who makes me feel special.

What are you thinking Sidtip?? I am going to Cambodia for 6 weeks on 6/21. I work for a school in Canada and have the summer off. I plan to be in in Siem Reap for a few days during my trip. I understand your liberal empathy toward the Khmer girls, however do you know / or realize what men like you are causing to the rest of us? You are raising prices and taking girls off the market, plain and simple! By jacking up prices and paying stupid amounts of $ you are creating an inflated base and expectation of the girls. Do you know that most people in Cambodia survive on $1 a day? You stated that you hoped that a girl might not work for a few days because you payed her 4 times the going rate. That screws all the other guys including me of a possible good provider on that day.
I have questions? Do you go to a clothing store and see a pair of pants for $20 and then go to the cashier and say I think these pants are worth $60 therefore I will pay $60.00 ?Do you go to a fast food Rest. And order a $5. 00 lunch and after eating the lunch bring the cashier $10.00 stating that the meal was really so good? This is business. Everything in this world has a price. Keep this in mind! If you want to spread the wealth invite us (middle-class) guys to hunt together, Thanks.

In order to change the market place mongers or working girls would have to form a union! I doubt this would ever happen.

I do not attempt to know how much time you have spent in Ccambodia. However from my knowledge the girls do have a so-called oninion, They talk! If one idiot tourist pays too much they all know! Do you overpay for everything, clothes, food, etc,. I have a sister for you!

She is selling her body. Imagine having to sleep with a fat wrinkly old granny. If the going price was $30 a session maybe you would do it if it was the only way you could feed your kid or support your mum, but imagine if one of your customers gave you twice the price and you could buy your mum or kid or whatever a treat. I would rather make this girl happy than think about the cheap dude who might come and offer the girl the lowest price he can to satisfy his cheap urges.
And if we get to the economics of it all. The good looking girls will get the big tips. The ugly ones won't. This means the ugly ones will all still be cheap and you will always be able to afford them.
And in answer to you question, if a waitress makes me happy I will tip her.
I booked my return flight and will be back in August so get there quickly before I cause the prices to increase again.
My opinion is not that important but from what I saw SR is 10 x more fun that PP. In fact if I had my time over I would not even have visited PP. As far as cities go, I don't think it has anything to offer anyone other than a visit to the killing fields. It is one of the most unremarkable cities I have ever been to. If you are planning a trip aim to spend a lot more time in SR than PP. As I said, I'm going back to Cambodia but only to SR for the 10-girl massage that I think I need to try just so I can say that I have done it. This is something even the cheap dudes can do - $3 per girl for 30 minutes plus a tip of $3-7 per girl to have 10 topless girls playing with your little brother and all your other bits all at once while you are lathered in oil. The oil actually costs extra.

I have seen it also in Morocco in bars / clubs that Saudis go to and they pay at least 5-10 times the going rate plus champagne and food. I was in this club full of Saudis wining and dining the girls. I really thought I would be going home alone as the girls would not budge waiting for the Saudis. A couple said to wait till 5.00AM and then will consider. I talked to a few girls at the bars, laughing and joking. Along came a belle, very pretty woman who was with the Saudis to talk to her friends close to me. We started talking and she thought I was a nice guy and I wasted no time in asking her price. Her price was the Saudi price, about 5 times higher than the going rate. I told her it was too much for me and kept talking. She than asked what I could pay. Told her the going rate and she was stunned. She said no way. I kept talking with her and her friends and eventually she agreed without me asking again. I took home the most beautiful woman in the club at my price and we had an enjoyable night. These girls have their own cars from the Saudi money. Just be nice and respectful and good things will happen.
