Day after presidential elections in Gazcue, Santo Domingo
PLD party headquarters is located in Gazcue, Santo Domingo (calle cervantes and avenida independencia). People were celebrating outside these headquarters the Monday after Danilo won the presidency.
On calle cervantes is la cadena supermarket. I saw the owner of 305 in La Cadena and we chatted. He is always nice to me, even though I only have taken two chicas from 305, in years.
Some new places on avenida pasteur, I will post photos later. Coppa disco in hotel melia is no more. In Coppa's location is a disco called Pure, same as the disco in Bayahibe.
Hilton area is pretty dead
It's good if you go in with one regestered chica and stay with that ONE. I threw a fit when I went in with about the fourth diferent one and ended up at the Barcelo the next day. Not chica friendly at all but very nice hotel.
The Hilton and the mall next door is pretty dead (casino is closed) , but here's a trick I've used before. Register with a chica with her name etc. Then if you come back in the middle of the night with a different chica the security just has a print out of names. Tell them the name of the first girl and it should not be a problem. There are two entrances to get into the hilton, the front one and the one on the 5th floor. Usually different security. If you are coming in and out with 4 different girls a day I don't suggest using this trick. But a different one at night, you should be able to get away with it.
Waleska GBP 5:38pm Wednesday, absolutly no smell
Visited numerous p4p venues and saw numerous SWs, yesterday. Was with ISG member Carrib and we had a goof. Carrib had a firecracker from Satin Dolls.
Waleska at GBP at 5:38pm yesterday had absolutely zero pussy smell. She was squirting milk from her tits. Good assortment of chicas at GBP, free lap dance and strip show from most of the chicas. 1000 pesos for one or 1500 pesos for two chicas. Bring your own condoms. Only females work at GBP, no male workers (bartender etc) there. I did not smell anything bad at GBP.
Foxys had three chicas, nothing special and a 100 peso cover charge, I don't think I will be returning to foxys anytime soon. La Parada seems to be closed. The new place on pasteur had about 20 chicas (venecia).305 had a good selection. Spent time in satin dolls.
Mint discoteca at the hotel napolitano had workers at the entrance so appears mint is open. Coppa is now called Pure.
Santo Domingo still quiet, after the election.
Hotwire has some good deals going on now
Travel5 promo code will save you 5% on hotels on orbitz. Barcelo used to give a ten percent off code when you joined their site (free to join). I have a ten percent off code from barcelo that I will probably not use (expires at the end of June). Send me a PM, with your travel dates and I'll probably be able to send you the 10% off code for barcelo (I don't know if the barcelo. Com discount code I have is transferable).
I needed 2 hotels and I was doing some searching and hot-wire had 3. 5 star going for 60. 00 night so I said hell it can not be the mecure or europa I will take a chance and it came up Hotel Palacio which is good I have stayed there quite a bit in the past. Now originally I was going to book the Bacelo on Orbitz going for 90 and if you upgraded to club premium it was 105 or 110 something like that. Jaosousa I told a buddy about the Barcelo from what I heard from you and he went a couple of months and raved about the Barcelo club premium he was definately satisfied with the Barcelo. I was going to Book that as my second hotel, but I went back to hot-wire again and they had a 4. 5 star going for 79 night so I said hell I will take another chance and bang it was Hostel Nicholas which I have heard is very nice.
Now I know the Palacio policy about chicas but have no idea of the Hotel Nicholas policy if you have to stay with 1 chica without extra charge and if so I have to just with up because I have 3 chicas lined up and I was also going to leave some time free because from past exp I have always ran into something else that was not planned that I wanted to hit. Does anyone know their policy I just assumed they may have a strict policy and If so I would just arrange the chicas differently.
2 hotels and an apartment and 3 planned chicas and of course the extra ones so I planned on being tired for the flight back home

Santo Domingo and surrounding areas
The area before immigration at SDQ (las americas international airport) has been expanded. The skinny dominican form that needs to be be filled out now has Russian as one of the languages printed on it. I have seen older New York Russians arriving from Santo Domingo into JFK, after their vacations. The money exchange next to the booth where the tourist card is purchased, was offering an exchange rate of about 32 pesos to the dollar (terrible rate). After you have picked up your luggage from the baggage carrousel and proceeded through customs, there is a new ban reservas bank about 25 feet from the Customs worker. Posted exchange rate (mid May. 2012) was about 38. 75. Still inside the arrival area banreservas bank, some people may find that bank more comfortable to exchange money. The banks at the SDQ airport I was told are open Monday to Saturday. The exit after customs has been changed, you don't walk past all the car rental counters now (the car rental counters are still there and open).
I drove to Bani a few days ago. Numerous large orchards with mango trees. It is mango season and lots of mangos for sale. Delicious ripe mangos, I have eaten recently in the Dominican Republic. Las Salinas seems to be a part of Bani. Salt is produced in Las Salinas and las salinas is famous for its large sand dunes. I saw a sign on the road that said to be aware that iguanas cross the road there. Military presence in Las Salinas, I stopped for two Dominicans in the military who were waiting for a bus or guagua in las salinas and gave them a ride in my rental car. One guy was in uniform and the other was in civies. One said he was a marino, not sure if that is navy. One got out of the car in bani city about 10 minutes from las salinas and the other guy got out in santo domingo, over an hour from las salinas. Nice clean water in las salinas, the beach I saw is a mix of small stones and sand.
If you stay in the gazcue section of santo domingo, near more than 10 hotels. There is a money exchange place off of avenida pasteur (ISG member Koki showed me this money exchange place). It is located about 50 feet west of avenida pasteur on avenida santiago or calle perdomo, it is across the street from the pizza hut restaurant and around the corner from the sushi ya restaurant. Villar Hernanos at the corner of Independencia and pasteur is a very clean business, serving a variety of food.
2 hours from santo domingo is the hotel catalonia gran dominicus in Bayahibe. Excellent hotel on an excellent beach with excellent service. Dominican Republic has a mix of people, from light skin to dark, from short to tall, from thin to thick. At the catalonia gran dominicus there were guests from france, canada, Dominican republic, germany, italy, brazil, england, united states (maybe haiti and jamaica). The guests at the catalonia gran domincus in bayahibe were friendly. I chatted with numerous people who were staying there and the workers are friendly too. Years ago I visited the casa marina hotel in sosua approximately 7 times, the guests from the same aforementioned countries at the casa marina in sosua were never very friendly.
I enjoy visiting casas and seeing pros. However, I do not want to be around prostitutes 24/7, when I am on vacation. Sosua is like one big open air casa. For guys who only want to be around prostitutes while they are on a trip, then Sosua or the other place in Costambar, could be a good choice (as a public service, those who enter the water in sosua beach, be careful not to walk on the sea urchins). I have my long time amigas and GFs in and around santo domingo, who provide excellent company (in and out of the bed) , they are non-pros so rates are never mentioned. None have children, all in their 20s (from Bonao, Santiago, Santiago Rodriguez and San Pedro de Marcoris). I trust them 110% and they provide to me what I consider true GFE. I have not used a room safe or other lockable device in my hotel room in many years in the DR (nothing goes missing).
In Santo Domingo and in Bayahibe, I have seen very dark skin guys (haitian or dominican) with pretty blond hair European women, holding hands and being romantic in public. I have seen white 50 year old guys with their 20 year old haitian or dominican women, holding hands and being romantic in public. Younger local guys with older foreign women also. Other older guys with their local girlfriends. All these different types of couples I have seen being romantic in public in the DR. I have read posts from one guy on the ISG, who I believe posted that some Colombian women in Medellin, will not be romantic with foreign guys in public, if true that is not very sweet and not very nice.
