I had time to kill so I took the train to Keelung. Looked for the red light district, but no success.

Where the hell were those ladies standing by huts beside the train tracks that Amazake wrote so eloquently about? I saw a lot of train tracks but no huts. My search centered around the West side of the MiaoKou market, but the closest thing I saw to a working girl or a red light district were some signs with scantily clad women underneath the Aiyi Road overpass which were written in Chinese characters that I couldn't understand. After 6 minutes this puts you at Jing 1st road and straight ahead is the line of covered entrances up to Chenggong 1st road. Google maps only shows a section of Longan street between them which is the eastern boundary with some action as well. Posted details a few years ago.
