Many Neighbors / Cousins / etc... have stopped talking to each other over financial issues with the girls I know (back at home towns in Isaan). Many girls "friends" from before have stopped talking to each other in BKK as well. So yes I am seeing this all over right now.
Room mates are turning on each other also at alarming rates (in BKK and Pattaya). One girl in BKK moved out with most of the items, owing her share of back rent never to be scene again except at Beer Garden of course. Pattaya girl has back rent and disappeared for a week or so but she showed up and made good on her part of the rent finally.

It's a buyers market for sure, the talent level in looks department in P4P has increased dramatically and the services you can receive are going through the roof lately. Plus it is much easier to pick up sales girls also for after work fun, much easier to get waitresses and students, and many of the venues have younger girls. BUT... the younger the girls and the more new to the game the HIGHER the attitude thinking that just because they are a college girl or work a department store and not a "bar girl" that they deserve higher baht. If you have the baht and time, get to LOS and PI now as I think the talent and services if you play the game right are incredible. But if you pick up a fish / newbie then it will bite. Also do watch the crime I have heard and scene it going up. But it is still a LOT safer in BKK then in most major cities IMHO. Most crime is still centered Thai vs Thai IMHO and most tourists are left alone for the most part. Again IMHO....

Reading comprehension is often not a big priority here on ISG. BTW, I think it's a lot easier to find big butts than big "real yaboos" here in Thailand. Also, be very aware of these street stall bars late at night, they have a history of drugging people... you'll wake up on your hotel bed, with a big headache and half your stuff gone... and no recollection of what happened.
