Long time nvr been to Jakarta luring scene. Is the price for 1 / hr (st) still rp180 / hr in blom M or othr street.

May try Jakarta scene soon during coming holiday. Tx.

Yesterday I was at LA Bar in Kota Indah and asked one of the mama-sans whether the bar would be open October 14 and 15 owing to the holiday. She said "of course." However, my hotel just issued a statement that the government has issued a regulation closing its bar and not permitting live music in its lounge on these dates. The hotel statement does not make clear whether this directive was just issued, or has been around for awhile.

In any event, does anyone know whether the Kota Indah places (like LA Bar, Sari Ayu, etc.) will in fact be open the 14th and 15th? I'm not sure the LA Bar's mama-san's information about this is reliable, particularly if the government has since issued the regulations mandating certain closures.

I think you are referring to Blok M? If so, then no you won't get short-time for 180, 000 rupiah anywhere there. That was the price a long time ago.

There may be a few really low end places that offer short-time sex for that price, but I'm talking really, really low-end places that you should not think of going to.

The girl I talked to also seemed to be an amateur rather than a full-blown professional. Have to make another trip there sometime and find out the real truth and not let one episode cloud the issue.

That Friday at least, it was a place I would rather not be in.

Me, I'm happy to pay the extra twenty bucks to get a clean room with aircon and a shower and a reasonable chance that I'm not picking up a drug-addicted skank whose HIV+ husband is watching me from the ojek stand across the street, but hey each to their own.

I was told by someone in the area they will be closed both today and tomorrow in observance of the Muslim holiday. He recommended I check out the new Orchardz Hotel spa, also on Jalan Pangeran Jayakarta as the hotel spas would be open, or so he said. However, the spa at Orchardz Hotel was not, and had a sign indicating it would be closed today and tomorrow.

As I passed Marioboro (sp?) on the way back to my hotel it looked like it was open (the metal detector and a security guard were in place) but I didn't stop to confirm this.
