You don't need to go to bars for girls.

There should be many motobike drivers hanging out in front of your hotel. Ask your hotel door man to recommend one, and take his name and his pictures for security.

Tell him you want to find pretty girls for Boom Boom long time. He will take you to many places near town center where you can check out the girls and make your selection.

I have gone this route many times in Siem Reap and Pnom Penh with good results and no problem. Just make sure you know who the drivers are in case something bad happens.

A little reality and perspective is probably in order.

Most people around the world work because they need to do it to survive. That's true of mechanics, factory workers, taxi drivers and nearly anyone else you can think of. Very few people would continue doing their job if they didn't get paid for it.

While Sidtip is right that bad circumstances are often the precursor, the truth is that women working bars and massage parlors in a place like this can make much more than many of their sisters who work as street vendors or low-paid factory jobs. The path to a hundred dollar a month sweat shop doesn't look much different than the path to Sexy Girl Bar.

Treating fellow human beings with dignity is something we should all do, but I'm sure that we all don't, at least not all the time. Money doesn't necessarily come into this equation. There are poor fellows who treat women nicely and guys with loads of money that treat them like shit.

Services tend to be priced at what the market with tolerate. That goes for the kinds of services this board is about the same as any. Some people will pay more, some less, especially here where haggling is done for everything. Some women troll Darlin Darlin for $100ST with Korean high rollers in the evening only to end up at Pontoon at 2 am in search of a white tourist in a t-shirt who has an extra $40. Some women work tourist traps in Siem Reap looking for $50 while women of equal looks work brothels aimed at locals where the rate is $10.

It's all relative.
