I'm not a Nana Plaza fan. Mainly because of all the lady boys.

Why would anyone go to Nana Plaza when they could go to Soi Cowboy instead? What am I missing?

Its goes around and comes around. Nana Plaza used to be the place where the expats and those in the know used to go, all the tourists used to go to Patpong and Soi Cowboy was always dead.

Now the tourists go to Nana Plaza mostly, and in fact some of the go-go's in Patpong are ok now, as are the ones in Soi Cowboy.

Its always the same with Thailand, if you avoid where the herds of tourists go, its generally much better.

Nana Plaza and Soi 4 is the "known" area amongst the herds of tourists and so its goes downhill fast.

The Japanese seem well into ladyboys now, and so many bars are catering for this, and the stream of Japanese looking for ladyboys is attracting more ladyboys to go to the Nana Plaza.

To contrast presently, for a mongerer the ideal places are Phuket and Pattaya. Pattaya has the sheer volume of numbers, Phuket presently has quite a high level of good lookers.

If you want to talk about Massage there are three threads, one for Annies, one for Tulip and one for all others.

In fact, it should be very easy for even the most simple minded person to work out what to post and where. However, of course, there are people who want to use the threads to gain attention, they do not want to post in a quiet thread and they get "no attention" and these attention seekers seek to disrupt other threads with off topics in order to get attention.

Then there are those being paid for marketing who "name drop" on the wrong threads to get attention. Then there are fake names who "name drop" for marketing only. Etc etc. Etc.

If everyone would use the right threads the site would be much easier to use. And if everyone would ignore off topic posts or direct the people to the right thread. Again things would get much more simple for people wanting quick and easy access to information about what they want.

When I go to the Bangkok Reports thread, I want to read reports about places in Bangkok where I can consider going.

When I go to the Massage. Tulip thread, I want to read reports about Tulip.

If I go to the Expat section (no thanks) then I would be looking for informaiton in the thread types over there.

Local expat hideout, next to escalator, 2nd floor. Don't complain about the cigarette smoke. Lots of young very impressionable talent. Or, you could just head on back to Soi Cowboy and be a tourist forever.

If I'm staying in the Amari Watergate (Watergarden? ) and I have a couple of hours spare, but not longer, and I'm not able to bring a girl back, where's the nearest and hottest monger entertainment?

Got in late last Sunday eve.
By the time I check in, hit the BG at 1am - very quiet, no passers even, eventually a nice if slightly Rubenesque girl named Poon sits with me, tells me her friend got lucky at the Landmark. I buy her a drink and see closing time at 2am out.

I decide the do the rounds up and down Suk Rd and across to Nana.
End up sitting across from Nana Hotel at 3am talking to Nong at the Soup stand with a beer. Sit across from a cute one from Udon Thani but she does not want speak with me, keeps doing make up and makes trip to bathroom in Hotel. Returns still no interaction - looked like she was ready to head somewhere but not with me ... or anyone else for that matter. Major attitude. I make small talk with Nong, 41 yo from Bangkok, nice girl, you'd never want for Soup ...
Ok I am out of there and go back to Suk Rd for some food and improvised guitar and ballads near Soi 11 before turning in about 5am.
First time, I've been prowling in this neck of woods and no catch.
It may have been the dead parrot on my shoulder or just me.

but, insteed of eating she starts to feed me with her food until my own has come to the table. i was like, damn dont judge so fast kid icarus!! what a great girl!! she did not eat anything before my food arrived (2 minutes).

but then there is other things like, yes i have money, hold hand and kiss first date, worked in a hotel in pattaya (no sex according to her), she say she want a farang, she say she want to work in a bar with many farangs (i did not really get her point there..) and she looked on a thaiboy who is doorman more then one time when we were sitting in a bar yesterday (second date). i did not like that. but she looked on the girls too and thought they were sexy, and that i did not complain about hehe.

I just want to give a big thanks to Tansak KTV.

Some of you may remember that I had posted that I could not sleep on the long oversea flight and was asking for advice and help.

I received a lot of good response on from the guys here.

I am rewording this post since someone PMed me after reading my original post and said that Tansak KTV might get into trouble for what he did for me.

I just want to say that Tansak KTV went out of his way, went to a lot of trouble and expense to help me out. He did this without ever have met me. Not too many guys would do something this nice for someone that they never met and I just want to publicly thank him for all his help.

Now, maybe the flights wouldn't be so bad. :D
