Manila

When I am going to be in Manila or Cebu for any amount of time (e. G, next month) I carry what I call my "taxi" wallet. An old beat up wallet in which I put lower denomination bills, great for taxis.

You should consider the Raja on Osmena Circle.

In many trips to Manila, I've never gotten a chance to try edsa complex until now.

I thought I'd have the ideal opportunity since I booked Heritage at a discounted rate AND they upgraded me to a suite. Alas it was not to be. Either I grade much more strict than I previously thought, my regular gf (a 35kg 4'11" total spinner) has spoiled me to other pinays or the quality is not what it was said to be. Majority were 6s at BEST with a few just barely 7s (my ideal is about 5'4", flat belly, super-slim with a-cup susus and Chinese or samar features). Most of the deductions I gave were for fat bellies, see-section scars or cellulite.

In Firehouse I had the only 9 I saw the whole night (#68, a Chinese-featured manila girl) tabled, she was one of only 2 girls showing any enthusiasm on stage, the kino was going on and was being asked to barfine eagerly but my starfish alert was dialed up to 11 and didn't risk it. Checked every bar in the place but the only other girl I found tablable was only about a 7. 5, I probably would have barfined her if I had found her earlier in the night but I'd already had about 5 beers at that point.

Oh good, so I was not the only one! I was there on Sept. 7 and I went through four bars and nothing really caught my eye except for a couple in the Cotton Club. Was driven out by the incessant whining for drinks. That was a real disappointment since EDSA was going to be the highlight of the trip.

Going to be visiting Manila for a couple days and want to find some action at EDSA entertainment complex but I do not have anywhere to take a bargirl for a whole night. I am staying with a couple guys and do not want to bring a girl back to our shared hotel room. Are the any hourly rate rooms near the complex or do any of the places have a back room to take care of business? Any info would help. I hate to have to pay for another room for just a hour or two of use.

There's a pedestrian bridge across EDSA but some recent posts have suggested it might not be a good route in the dark. You can always pay one of the taxis to do a you-turn on EDSA and take you the 1/4 mile or so back to Sogo. But make sure either you know the price or the meter is on before you leave. Do a search for information about Sogo in the Manila Hotels thread for other information. About April or May somebody posted a note in that thread about another possible short-time hotel nearby. Sogo prices will not break the bank. Mongering is inexpensive in the Philippines, but it's not free.

When you turn right at the street alongside SOGO opposite EDSA Complex off EDSA you will see many many short term hotels both in that street and in the first turn right after you go past the entrance to SOGO. One of them on the next block is Kamagong Inn. They are advertising very low rates for short-time (around half the SOGO rates that are already low ). I hear from friends that it is perfectly acceptable.

Alternatively just ask the girl of your choice for her usual ST hotel. Many of them have discount cards and they will get you at least 10% off the rate that you can then add to their tip and still break even.

Hi guys, resident of Beijing here, first time in Manila. I was wondering about the Manila Bar Cafe (MBC) , formerly LA Cafe. Is it still operating? Are taxi drivers likely to know where it is?

Hanging around cafes in the neighbourhood of colleges frequented by college chicks is productive if you have time in your hands & don't act sleazy. That will cone soon enough. ;)
All colleges, especially those with lower academic standards.
Any woman in the Philippines us pretty much available for that matter.. just stand on any street corner & they will come to you hehehe :)
Look for the come on signals, don't blunder up to strangers & proposition them. Any girl on the make will give you lots of eye contact & shy smiles

A few hymen (whats the plural of hymen. Hymens?) were left behnid from my own fine efforts. They had a nice Japanese themed room that even had a little footbridge in the suite and some other nice suites. Haven't been there in many years but was a fine place before Sogo joined that neighbourhood.
