I bought a nice quality collapsable umbrella, strong, OS recently. Did not stay with me long before a close family member needed it more than me. Can anyone recommend where to buy good quality collapsables in Bangkok which can stand a bit of wind and last a while? I don't want the large long umbrellas in the case, nor ones that go rusty quickly.

I want the price to medium. Not "el cheapos", but not too ridiculous.

I think it was about 350 Baht. It can easily fit in a cargo pants pocket. During Rainy Season, when it is cool enough to wear long pants and shoes requiring socks, I usually stuff it into my sock, behind my (long) pants leg, next to my ankle. Then there is no bulge, it is virtually invisible, no carrying it around, and ready when needed. The trademark name I see on it is Pop & Pro. I bought it on the 4th floor of Tokyu department store in MBK, next to the escalators. But I've seen them for sale in other places around the city, just can't be sure where now.

Does anyone actually like the Dr BJ chairs? Any other BJ place I have tried has more flexible furniture for me. However Dr BJ possibly deliberately does not want any flexibility. What you mention, and I don't object on your liking, is a more advanced room furnished for different needs, from the BJ char to a nice bed for. I don't think it is th format Dr BJ has in mind, as that would be a different type of place.

Time to move to MP3 brother. Your entire collection can fit on a memory card that is smaller than your fingernail.

But, alas, the good Doctor apparently cannot afford to supply them. It would probably be about 500 baht or less for each small footstool.

However, there is or was a chair in one of the cubicles that is reclined too far back, virtually in flat-on-your-back recline position, and cannot be set upright. Intolerable for me. If someone was unlucky enough to be taken to that particular cubicle on a first visit, he might think all of Dr. BJ's chairs are like that. They are not.

In fact, that chair and the way my favorite girl, EE, dealt with my problem with it has kept me away from Dr. BJ's Salon for almost two years now, even though EE no longer works there. LOL.

Most new cars have the AUX IN jack where you can connect your mp3 player. There is also a cassette tape adapter to use for his old car. I had been using one for about 10 years until I finally put a new radio in my car a few months ago.
