Al Quoz Reborn and Revisited
On Monday Falafel was having a late lunch in Dubai and idly wondering about whether to make an overdue visit to the Al Quoz AMP – which had been acting strangely for a few weeks, ever since the Christmas closure. He texted the usual number to see if they are open and received a message back that indicated they were open but have moved to a new location, and have some new girls in the line-up. Great. But he’s also informed that the “boss money” has increased to 120 per hour because now the service is for “VIPs”. Not so great.
The directions to the new place are delivered pretty well by the Scruffy Kid, and Falafel finds the place without any issues. The new location certainly seems to be an improvement – less overlooked, busier neighbourhood and less secluded. Even the Kid seems less paranoid and is squatting outside casually smoking as Falafel pulls up to the new premises.
Once inside the gate Falafel is welcomed in by a new guy with a shaved head and a little bit of hair hanging off his chin which is some kind of trendy beard: presumably he’s the Kid’s new buddy. Seaview - latest viewings
Its been some time since last summer so I found an excuse to go out to the Seaview last Wednesday night.
Not that much has changed, the band are better than last year and had some wider variety of music.
The PRCs seem to have gone downhill in terms of standards. The African girls are the same as always.
What I found interesting and a number of you have pointed this out is the increase in the numbers of PI girls. I was unable to take anything home due to the lady being around but next time I will.
The seaview was a favourite anyway but with the extra PI girls it has become the only place for me right now.
Hopefully next week I'll get to try some out and will post again.
