Kartika is located three alleys north of Stadium, it's the last alley before Jalan Mangga Besar. I've added a map and a photo of the alley to this post. Kartika is the last MP on the right (Royal is closest to the street, then Berlian, then Royal).

For clarification, yes I had tipped 100k to each girl at Classic (not 10k as I wrote). Easier for me to remember. A red bill. Usually I tip 50k there. A blue bill.

And yes, I should have complained to the mamasan after my bad experience at Malioboro, as a favor to fellow mongers. Anyway long story short I had difficulty find it mainly because I was using Stadium as a starting point to find it and to find Stadium I used google maps. So it turns out that the Stadium listing on Google is in totally the wrong place which had me wandering around like a fool for nearly an hour checking all the alleyways near to where google said it was. Eventually I asked a taxi driver who pointed me in the correct direction and I found Kartika is less than 5 minutes, so not so difficult after all. For anyone looking for it the best directions I can give are to walk to the very end of JL Mangge Besar where it meets with JL Hayam Wuruk. At the intersection turn left and stay on the left side (facing south) of Hayam Wuruk. Just after the corner you will see three 24/7 convenience stores on your left, in order they are Altomart, Indomart and 7Eleven. About 30m after 7Eleven you will see an alleyway on your left and at the very end of it (about 50m) you'll find Kartika. There is a lit up Bintang beer sign down the alley, also at the entrance to the alley there is a red sign on ground level saying Swisse Bakery, the sign isn't permanent but it was out at 10. 30pm when I passed so is probably there all day. Hopefully that info will help others find it, if google maps hadn't of sent me wrong it wouldn't have been all that difficult to be fair.

Anyway the bad news is they were closing up when I arrived at 10. 30, I was offered a massage but I didn't know they were closing and decided to have a beer first, I needed it after all the walking around! A few girls offered massage but the one I wanted had disappeared out the back and soon the bar staff were clearing the place. I forgot to mention something in my last report on Travel Hotel that might be of interest to some. The mammsan told me that threesomes are on offer there. Price is IDR475,000 which includes the room. I bought a pack yesterday for Rp 120, 000 at Pasar Pramuka, which is a market that sells pharmaceuticals near Senen. On the other hand, if you buy it at the pharmacist's, it costs around Rp 100, 000 per tab. I don't know if the cheaper stuff is really manufactured by Pfizer, despite the convincing looking packages, but it does contain Sildenafil. Whether or not in the stated doses is arguable.

I made it back to Kartika just this afternoon. Went in at 2pm and there were about 20 girls present. Immediately a girl called Sunni approached as I sat at the bar and had a Coke.
