Can you clarify a little more:

1. What the 'ficha cost" covers in the strip club context when there are separate girl's drink prices, prices to the club for sex and then the price of the girl themselves? Not sure what the "ficha" covers. Is it the cost of drink for the girl to sit with you at a table?

2. Were the girls in the strip clubs significantly better than the level 3 cafes?

3. Did you get the impression that the strip club girls were willing to meet after working or during the next day for a lower price?

1 - I used the word "ficha" for the girl's drink. Usually for the cost of the drink (ficha), the girl gets a percentage of that money. In some places, especially Santiago, it allows the girl to sit next to you and you can get to know her better before you decide have sex. Some buy fichas just for company, or in my case, to gather information about the club.

Thus, you are correct; it's the cost of drink for the girl to sit with you at a table. Some girls will drink slow, while others finish their drink in a few minutes. In Santiago, in the clubs / cafes, no drink; conversation ends quickly.

2 - In Bellas Artes, I did not think the girls in the strip clubs significantly better than the level 3 cafes? I did not care to have sex in a bathroom in number 26, but it was interesting to say the least. And that chica was just as pretty as any club girl in Bellas Artes. But as written before, go in and check out the talent, and if you don't like the talent, just leave.

It made me feel better about the one place I ever travelled to that I had a terrible mongering experience.

I always thought afterwards that if I was more of an adventurer like you and Smuler, I would have had a better time.

But now I am thinking that I would not have. If you couldn't find consistent high quality, no one could.

Every escort I saw in Santiago was unfriendly and / or inexperienced, offering only CBJs. One, incredibly, wouldn't even do that. I just passed through Santiago and had only about 6 hours stopover. I have been to Santiago before with rather poor mongering experiences.

This time I decided to go direct to Cafe 26. Basically, I entered the mall and staircases were right in front at the entrance. Half floor down were the cafes on the left side. The first one is 27. I ignored (based on TomJackin's experience) the girl from this cafe who was inviting me in. The one attached to it was the deared cafe 26. Basically, these cafes all had one chica sitting conveniently on a chair right at the door entrance and monitoring the traffic. The door was opened as expected and a chica invited me in. I was bombarded with some Spanish words, and after I clarified that I don't know more than 3 words, they were a bit disappointed. But, I continued communicating with the bartender (the only male, friendly) and using body language and generic English words (like sex, dance) to get where I wanted.

3 girls were there. One tall with a nice ass but otherwise rather normal. One shorter, average built, and nothing special. The third one was a Peruvian angel going by the name of Vanessa; white skin, average boobs but great curves and a fabulous ass. I made my choice in probably less than a second. The offers (same for all girls) were:

2000 pesos for some lap dance with any girl I want.

30000 pesos for "sexo".

I had not much time so just paid 30000 for sexo with the Peruvian girl in the bathroom, and oh. It was one of the sexiest experiences I have ever had even considering all my relations with my ex. She was more than happy to accommodate bathroom-oriented positions, E. G. Sitting on the sink edge, bending over on the toilet, etc.

Expect to pay some "tip" to the girl after you come out of the bathroom. What they did was that they brought in one English speaking girl from somewhere (probably a neighboring cafe), who started talking about giving tips to the girl as soon as I came out of the bathroom. She said: "did you have a good experience?" I said:"well, yes." She immediately said:" then pay some tip to the girl", and continued to maintain this in a rather menacing way.

I gave 10000 to the girl, because I really felt really happy with her, but obviously due to being prompted by the English speaking girl.

Thanks for the great info guys. I am armed with some insight to make my trip okay, considering the consensus that Santiago isn't a great mongering location. I am staying in Providencia, and it seems everywhere is far from there. Wish I would have know that before, but oh well. Can someone please give me the location of the mall for Café 26? I at least want to have a sure thing in reserve. Appreciate the help.

Thanks for the great reports Tomjackin and LawnDeick. And thanks for the response WorldTraveler (I see we meet again). After thinking I saved the map on my phone for offline use and navigating to infamous 26, I realized that the "action" icons did not save. Crap! Not to worry, how hard could it be right? Inadvertently I ended up at all the Type 2 clubs that were referenced, no fun. Then I realized I was not on Merced. I made my way there and strategically started searching every strip mall.
