I didn't mention this but when I was there the police did try to get 100 pesos from me as I walked from CMP. I was with a hatian guy when they pulled up beside us and told the hatian to ask me for a 100 pesos. The cops didn't speak english. I ignored them and kept walking. They followed me a bit but. Not many people would fool with and they got that vibe and rode off. Most chicas told me they don't like Calle which is where classicos and everything is. Police like to people.
So beware

After One
I did over ten trips to Sosua with other guys. We always stayed in an all inclusive hotel in Sosua. Another guy and myself rented condominium apartments in Sosua, only to use when we entertained chicas, the majority of the time was spent at the all inclusive hotel or at the bars.
On one trip, Marco had no available apartments at Tradewinds and the owner of the el neptuno apartment (a guy from the States) told me his apartment was booked. I found info about the Palms online and made a reservation over the internet. The woman who managed the apartment at the Palms was probably Canadian and she worked at some bar in Sosua. I met with her in Sosua and paid for 5 nights. After I paid her, she told me that I could NOT bring any Dominican chicas to pool. When I stayed at the Tradewinds and El Neptuno I was never given such restrictions.
The palms pool is at the bottom of the steps of the place and is nothing special. My second day at the palms, I noticed older white women lounging at the pool with their young Dominican boyfriends. One set of rules for women and a more restrictive set of rules for men at the Palms.
My first night at the Palms, I invited over two chicas around 8pm. My wingman and I sat outside on the balcony / terrace of the apartment chatting with the chicas and around 10pm we exited to go back to the all inclusive and get ready for the bars.
The next day I found a handwritten note on the kitchen table written in English from the Canadian woman who had rented me the apartment. The note said that I made too much noise the night before and if there was a repeat of that, they would evict me and not refund any money. My wingman and I, chatting with two Dominican chicas on the balcony was the noise they were upset about. For the rest of the trip I did not use the balcony at the Palms.
My wingman slept with one chica he picked up in a bar in Sosua, at the Palms. I had to visit him for something around 5am, maybe he had the car keys. I walked into the bedroom and he was sleeping with the chica. I woke him up and he discovered the chica had started her period, so there was gobs of menstruation fluid on the sheets and the mattress. He was pissed and disgusted, the chica started to cry. I was laughing my ass off and I am laughing now as I recall that. We flipped the mattress so the menstruation fluid soaked side of the mattress was facing the floor (box-spring) and threw the sheet in the closet. The woman who rented me the apartment never said anything to me about the mattress. Karma, LOL.
The Palms has a few parking spaces near the main entrance, across the street from the main entrance there is a house with a big yard that has geese, turkey, ducks and maybe some other animals. In the field across from the Tradewinds are a few old General Motors corvette automobiles that are partially covered with plant life.
Palms has a gated parking area down the hill closer to the pool. Near that parking area is a dirt road, where I had sex in the car one night.
Many nights in Sosua I stayed out till 4am or later. Some chicas I met, I invited them to go swimming at 4am at the Tradewinds pool. They entered the pool in bra and panties or nude.
Marco the Canadian guy at Rockys would give me the keys for the Tradewinds apartment, he was always a very good guy with me. The American owner of the el neptuno apartment was a very nice guy. I never received any complaints when I stayed at the Tradewinds or El Neptuno.
The Palms with their Apartheid like pool policy (which only applied to men and dominican women) and their intolerance of but the minimalist amount of noise, their no refund of money paid in case of wrongful eviction, for these reasons The Palms gets two thumbs down from me.
Maybe the Palms is different now, I have relayed my experience there.
Some photos from Sosua and one from Mangu in Playa Dorada complex Puerto Plata. Azul was a half Colombian, half Dominican chica, who used the pool with me at tradewinds at 5am, she was a regular in Sosua. I visited her place at the Hotel Romanoff, where she shared a room with another chica. Boring was a Santiago chica, about the only sexy thing she knew how to do was play with tongue, she was a boring lay. Blonde chica had no panties on with that dress, while she was out and about in classicos and after one. Big tittie morena from classicos took me to some low cost motel place that was on the charamicos side of sosua.
Is this Bar now re-opened?
Is Levitra availble in Sousa.
Where?
What are the current costs for Viagara with mg.
Thanks Book
On my last trip to Santo Domingo, I paid about 340 pesos (about $9US) for one Cialis. There are at least 3 pharmacies, that I remember in Sosua. One is a 1/4 block from New Garden, when you make a right out of New Garden. Oftentimes in DR, generic versions of name brand pills are available as well as the name brand version.
LaPela is a generic version of Cialis, cost per pill around 70 pesos. There are other generic versions. Most pharmacies in Sosua carry the name brand or the generic or both.

Beware

Use the Rx next to the market just down the street from Sosua Bay Hotel past the taxi stand. Always got the real thing from her. Cialis was running around $1200DP for four if memory serves me right.

Question for the Vets?
A few years back there was a girl named Dorka that was at BB's. She left to have a baby and never returned. I was told that she was working in Sosua a year ago. Any info would be great. Thanks,

Thanks Book
Others (including myself) have asked the same question. I always see the same reply about LePella but I have never seen anyone post what is the cost for 100MG Viagara. Wish someone would. Cellas and Levitra don't work nearly as well as Viagara. Would be nice to know what the cost is down ther.

Because of their proximity to the NG they probably sell more LaPela than anywhere in Sosúa and in five years I have never heard or read of anyone having a problem.
I am not contradicting you, however. You could have bought from a bad batch or they may have switched to an inferior product. Things can change in the DR and usually for the worse.

Sosua next
Just got back from DR. Never made it to Sosua this time but I'll be in Sosua in April.
I was plesantly suprised by Boca Chica though, and my newbie report is posted there.

Always nice to read some good news on Boca. Oakie describes Boca as a dingy little town. Boca is indeed that but you can still have a lot of fun in Boca.
This stuff was like a thin layer of cardboard over chalk that went yuck in your mouth. I usually take only a half (bit into it). Went to show the lady in the Rx but she refused to honor our request for a refund even after we showed her the product. This was my brother and I back in Nov. Anyway I don't buy there anymore because of that incident. And yes it could have been a fluke and not business as usual with them. One of a kind, it happens. I am no stranger to Sosua, usually get there every 6 weeks or so. Will be in town on the 30th of this month for a week if anyone is in need of beer. Just give me a shout.
Thanks, Nightwhaler

Thanks, Nightwhaler
Nightwhaler,
I'm not trying to flame you but WTF. I've used that farmacia a zillion times and never received any fakes. Just because it looked and tasted the way it did doesn't mean it is a fake, it either gave you a fucking boner or it didn't. I'm not saying they weren't fake but you are describing a typical pill to me. I'm going to go there shortly and buy a few and give them the real test, the hard-on fuck like a teenager test not a goddamn taste test. I promise to report back with the results, LOL.
When driving the new hwy from sdq to sosua, will there be a sign at the end of the new hwy directing you to Sosua?
At the end of the highway go left for Cabarete, Sosua, Puerto Plata or go right for Samana. When you turn left just follow the coastal road to Sosua. About an hour and a half +/- all depending on traffic.
This autocorrect software is crazy. I wrote "When you turn........." and the autocorrect changed it to "When U-turn...". I had to go back and edit my post. I found reading typos a lot easier than dealing with "autocorrect".
