The search facilty is useful but not so good when you want something more specific ------- such as a decent hotel in a certain area.
I recently made an enquiry on here, got some good replies and have now booked.
I think we need some patience with newbies -------- I am a newbie to KL but not to mongering.

It just gets a little frustrating to continually see guys who don't try and read up on their own first. The old "How do I get laid in ***?" kind of thing where the person has only a post or 2 in the whole ISG. Even without the search, it's incredibly useful to scan through a number of pages to get some ideas to work from. The senior members know how to ask specific things like where to find a particular type of girl or whatever, and that is more what we're about, I think, plus it is something less likely to have been answered multiple times.

In some cases you can read pages upon pages of posts without coming up with anything other than some abbreviated references to places that are difficult to impossible to research further (it's hard to find a location of a place when you aren't even sure of it's name), insider references, etc. This is not a complaint but the reality of the situation.

I've found all the info I've needed in some countries by reading 2 or 3 pages of posts. In others, I've spent hours reading entire threads to no avail.

Because of that I think we should be as helpful we can in responding to direct questions (within reason).
