I was there the other week. I thought it was pretty fun with the all female band singing Michael Jackson songs. The drinks are kinda expensive and theres an ice bar upstairs for 300 baht a shot. Better to loosen up at Connection bar next door first then walk over.
i've met the lady band a few times at other venues...i have never been there, but friends told me that it was very very expensive in terms of taking ladies home, so better to just go there for a drink and the band and pull elsewhere.

The girl did not ask, he gave her the 500 and she must have been too shy or intimidated to ask for the rest. Some girls are really new to this business.
I remember the first time I went with RIN @ Hana massage, I completely forgot to pay for the 2 hours massage fee of 800! She did not say a word to me about it. When I realised it, next day, I went back adn apologised, gave her the money and she was really happy and surprised, we went upstairs and she gave me a service I still remember to this day, oh, and she did not make me pay for the 1 hour massage fee... on purpose this time.
The OP made an honest mistake and going back to "make things right" shows he has a good character, that's all.
I know a lot of guys that would write about it as if it was something to be proud of!
Nic,
I like your posts, your attitude, honesty and respect towards the deserving. Keep it up! It lifts the mood after having read some crude, vulgar and malignant post. BKK after hours
Arrived in BKK late yesterday and went out at 3:00AM on a Saturday night. After checking the forum I was expecting to find some action at Climax, Space or Bossy so I took a taxi and we went to all 3 places. Unfortunately all of them were closed, the driver explained that the police is strictly controlling… Ended up chatting with another guy at the little bar in front of Climax and went to bed… Tomorrow is another day.
If you are wandering around at 3am, you could do worse than hang out on Sukumvit road between about soi 5 and beyond soi 11 (I think). You can sit at any of the street restaurants and drink while making eye contact with the passing ladies.
If that is too "hit or miss," try going to the Nana car park on soi 4, opposite Nana Plaza. Stand around long enough and you will find a beer in your hand and a hottie on your arm. In other words, someone will offer you a bottle of beer (I think it is about 80 or 90 baht) and there will be many ladies from the bars and other places hanging around trying to hook up.
I know Nic, the stains are still on the ceiling.
Ah! The famous stains. Well, I am disappointed to say that as much as I would like them to be mine, they aren't.
The only stains I left on any ceiling there may be on RIN's mouth.
Have seen her in the street a few weeks back, she is starting to show her age. I guess business isn't very good and she worries too much. I wish her well.

Business not being good
I often have noticed in your post you keep mentioning the fact that business is not too good for mostly the whole of Thailand, however in my last 2 visits I really did not feel much of that except the fact that there is no visa fees, probably just another way to attract more tourists, in fact girls now ask for way more atleast 2000B st and 4000b lt, I was under the impression the economic downtrn was very much over for them. What are your thoughts?

There is no need to "overtip" like quite a few of the "idiots of Bangkok" do.
You certainly did "undertip" and another 500 (making 1500 in total for her) is correct.
But no need to spoil a girl by giving her 2000 baht as NF suggests, on top of your massage fee.
Yes, I wonder that too, seems very strange that the lady would let you out of the room without getting at least a 1,500 tip.
I suggest going back there and giving her another 500 minimum (1,000 would be fair).
Tell her to move to Pattaya where she'll get lots of business from all the farang expats here.
I wouldn't mind letting her tickle my nuts a bit. :D

Go Cowgirl!
...RIN's...Have seen her in the street a few weeks back, she is starting to show her age... I guess business isn't very good and she worries too much. I wish her well.
Many women do not look the same outside their place of business. And, from what I've noticed the past few years, Thai women tend to age faster once they've hit their mid forties.
One does not go and visit Rin because she is old and pretty. When it comes to rubbing a man's a*s, kneading his b*lls, sucking his c*ck, and doing the nasty "cowgirl" style, Rin is unmatched in my book. But, I know you already know that!

BKK and more..
Sorry, folks. But I didn't divide this up. I'll post on HK and Macau boards, too.
Ok, here goes.
I just spent 15 nights in these four places. I spent the weekends plus or minus a day or so in BKK as I have a friend there who teaches and he was occupied during the week so it worked out well. A little hectic traveling some, but I don't mind that like some folks do.
Oct. 24, 25, 26 I stayed at the Dynasty Grande on Soi 6. I hesitate to recommend it because it will become too popular, but hey, for you guys I will. It's reasonably priced, near the action but not right on top of it and good value for the money I thought. First night went to Soi Cowboy with my friend and his gf. Fist went to Baccara and enjoyed the view, then went to Tilac. I barfined a cutie there and the four of us went to Bangkok Beat on Soi 7/1. I like this place. At first I was disappointed that Absolute 7 was defunct, but Bangkok Beat picked up right were Absolut 7 left off. Great band. In fact, I think there were two. Kind of fun mixing with the freelancers and just regular men and women. Kind of keeps you guessing who is whom and who wants what and for how much? Ha.
To make a long story short, I'm not that much into the go go girls in general. I find them overpriced and most have an attitude. I had decided that my girl was about an 8 and would do 2k for short time.(which I thought was plenty). We got back to the hotel, got naked and she said "I need to talk to you about something". I need 2500 short time. I didn't budge and she said "ok, I have to go then". In fairness we were both very civil about it. But since I knew Nana carpark was a 5 minute walk and it was prime time I followed her out the door about 3 minutes after she left. And she was at the corner of Soi 4 and 6 talking on her cell phone either probably 1. Trying to get a ride 2. Trying another short time contact or 3. Who knows? I kind of chuckled because in 10 minutes I had my new girl in tow and was walking back to the Dynasty Grande with a cute spinner who I saw two days later also. All for 1000k baht short time and to me she was cuter than the Tilac girl.
Sunday morning I picked up a sweet girl from I think it was Morning Bar (next to Big Dogs). I had talked with her on Saturday and agreed to the bar fine and 1000 price. She was great.
I tend to pick more the spinner types or semi-spinner types. And tend to pick a girl with a sweet personality. It makes the whole exprience so much more enjoyable.
Ok, Tuesday I took the very new van from the Dynasty Grande to the Dynasty Inn on Soi 13 in Pattaya. It's a great deal because if you book two nights in Pattaya the van ride is free. The van is brand new. I only had one other guy ride along. The van probabl holds 12 or so.
I met Jack and another guy on Tuesday afternoon and we hit the go gos on Tuesday night. Jack was a great host. We met at the Beer Garden. It's a great venue, but I just think it hasn't caught on. Maybe it's actually a bit too upscale for some of the working girls. I'm not sure. We hit about five go gos. Some very lively "participatory" action. And when we went our separate ways, I bfined a cutie outside one of the last go gos.(can't remember which go go). There was a band playing American music. We stayed about an hour and back to the room. She was 31. But very cute. And very nice. I had this one stay the night. I generally don't do that. And she wanted to see me again and just do a regular date thing. I fully intended to do that, but, well, you know. You have to analyze if it's worth it. I feel bad when I tell them I "will" and then don't follow through, but oh well. I didn't follow through. LOL.
I also saw a girl I met on Thai Love links. There's pros and cons to using this site. Pros: 1. You can make contact with a lot of girls that want to spend time with you. 2. It's probably a good site if you are looking for a "real gf" type rather than a one-time free-lance experience, etc. And 3. You know what the girl looks like because they post their pics, etc.
Cons: 1. You can end up collecting all these contacts and then get overwhelmed and never get around to seeing them once you arrive resulting in emails calling you "liar man" when you end up not seeing them. LOL.3. It also costs like 30 bucks a month.
I'm actually glad I did it because I met this cutie in Pattaya. She had said she worked at Secrets, but gave me this story about how a few nights before I met her that management lied, etc. Blah blah blah. So who knows?
It's kind of funny how she felt me out. She wanted to go to MBK restaurant. Which apparently is a local favorite of the girls. Wanted the duck. Which is very good there, actually. Then we were to go "walk around".
Well, I guess she liked me because she gave me a scooter ride to the restaurant and then bac to the hotel and I thought we were just going to walk around and then I'd have to see if she'd go to the room, but she parked the scooter and I basically followed her through the lobby to the elevator at which point being Einstein I figure out she wanted to boom boom. Haha.
She was sweet, sexy, nice, responsive and a spinner type. And gave me her number, email, blah blah. But, hey. After Thursday night I was back to BKK so again I guess I am a "liar man.".
I had decided prior to coming back to BKK that I was going to 1. Save a little money and 2. Try this place out. It was a hotel. Well, room two floors above the Boo Sa Bar on Soi 7/1. Only 700 baht a night. Long story short. Picked up a cutie there and after the bar closed took her to the room. And after one session she wanted to go watch the movies with the rest of the girls (most stayed above the bar also). I thought this was hilarious and kind of cute as she came back. Woke me up. And we continued.
Saturday night my buddy and his gf and I went to Tapa's in the Patpong area for Halloween. Nice music. Nice girls. And he had an additional friend along and we ended up hitting it off. But she didn't go with me.
Sunday I flew to Hong Kong. Never been and had a blast. Very efficient city. Took the airport express train to the Central Station and then a short taxi ride to the Empire Hotel. Close to the expat bars and the action.
The bar that had all the action was definitely Neptune's. There were probably 150 freelancers by midnight. Many expats. They all want a lot though. The bars in the Wan chai area are kind of cool because they are just night clubs with bands and the freelance girls hang out there. I'd say they were 60-65% Filipina, 30% Viet, and maybe 10% Thai. I'd say almost zero Chinese girls.
They seem to want US $200 for even short time. The first night I took a Viet. Donated about half that. But I don't particularly like the Viets there. Very mercenary. Always talking about money money money. She talked money all the way back to the hotel, wanted it up front, etc. If she wasnt so cute, I'd have just walked away once we were in the lobby. But. I DIDN'T. LOL.
Second day I made a mistake. I went to the Fuji building instead of H2p's recommendation of Hop Yee Bldg. To me they were both short walks (10 minutes) from the Empire hotel. I'd done some research on Fuji and some Japanese looking guys were in the elevator so I kind of followed them up and got out at the 16th foor. Long story short. She trie to charge me 2000 HK. When I was expecting 500 hkd. Now, she did start and try for a second pop and I let her. So it was partly my fault I suppose. Hey, I thought maybe she just really liked me. LOL. She ended up calling some dude and eh talked to me and said "the girls said you there two hours (it was more like 1 hour) and said you owe here 2000. Well, I gave her 800 and walked out and got in the elevator. I guess she was satisfied. But.
DON'T GO THERE. TAKE H2P'S advice adn go to Hop Yee instead.
I also took a Gray Line tour (I know, I know) but I really enjoy touring as much as the extra curricular wherever I go. Saw the Peak, etc. Etc. Was fun and broke up the time nicely. BTW, Empire hotel is a great location. Close to the subway. In fact, I took the subway at night to the Night Market in Kowloon and bought a bunch of stuff. Highly recommend it. Only about a 10 minute subway ride from HK Island side.
Ok, where was I? So Wed night I went to Macau. I stayed at the Holiday Inn. Took the ferry. Easy. Walked around by the hotel and explored. H2p had recommended East Spa in Waldo Hotel so went there and got prices, etc. And then at 5:00 went back. It was great. Had the cutest China doll type. No English but she knew exactly what to do. Fire and ice, rimming, toe sucking, etc. BJ in shower. You name it. She was great. It was expensive and the massage extras I got from the girls before and after made it cost more. I also had 3 beers, but the food is free and it's pretty good.
I'd also recommend this place. But for a model girl and doing what I did it's about 300 roses. Cut out the beer and massages and maybe you can get it down to 250 or so.
After that I wanted to see some of the hotels so had a cab take me across the bridge to see the Venetian. What a hotel. Worth the ride just to see it. Then I returned adn went throuigh the Lisboa Hotel. Located the racetrack. What a sight seeing the girls walk round and round waiting or a customer. I walked opposite direction from them a few times but they wouldn't make eye contact. I think it maybe be strictly for Chinese dudes. I reported them to the Affirmative Action office. Just kidding folks. There's enough to go around!
So. One of the girls at the East Spa had said D2 and MGM disco were happenning places at night so went to MGM. Wanted to see the hotel anyway. Not much happenning until about 11:30 and then the Filipinas started to come! Long story short. I started talking to a tall 31 year old who kept trying to set me up with her little friends. But you know how it goes. She said she wasn[t a frelancer, but worked as a waitress only for a month. But liked to try and help her younger friends. So anyway. It's kind of the first time I realized that sometime I'm not that into the 20 year olds. Just too green so as the night wore on Sheila and I just hung out. She was 5 ft 7 1/2. About a 7 I supposed. But nice legs and ass, for sure. And just ghe greatest personality. So we ended up back at my room. And man she was hot. Stayed the night. And in the morning I am going to donate and she was insulted. Seriously. After about 20 minutes of sort of arguing I told her that she should help her family and then she accepted the donation. What a nice woman. Seriously.
Well, ferry back to HK. Left way way too early. Back to BKK. For Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and back to the Dynasty Grande. Hung out with my friend at a mall near where he lives. Hit the Beer Garden for Saturday afternoon delight. And found a cutie for a Sunday morning delight before my flight back to SFO. Oh, on Saturday went to Vientiane Kitchen off Sukhumvit. Forgot the soi. Maybe in the 40's? It's Isan food. Be a good "date" place. Performers, etc. Was fun.
Also met with one of you on Sunday morning to swap stories, etc. Not sure if he wants his name mentioned so I won't.
I'm sure I forgot a load of stuff, but hopefully you found the info at least informative if not interesting.
Special thanks to Jack for Pattaya help and h2p for input on HK and Macau. And thanks for Surfer for running the board.
I'd be happy to respond to any inboxes, etc.
Best wishes to everyone!
Oh, while I have you. I'm thinking about a February trip. Probably about 11 days and would like to include Laos possibly. Is it possible to spend say 6 days in Thailand and then do 5 in Laos and have it be worthwhile?
Is there time for Vientiane and say Luang Prabang or is just one of these possible and is it best to fly to say Luang Prabang.(I'm assuming for Vietiane maybe I can fly to Udon Thani and then take a taxi there? ). Any advice would be appreciated.
Take care, everyone.

Nana car park
Cruised by Nana car park last night and there were lots of women there....except I think 80% of the 'women' were ladyboys! That entire Nana area gives me the creeps so I tend to stay away.
Here is one of the Minuteman's mongering rules: DON'T FUCK ANYTHING OVER 5'6" because it might be a ladyboy.
Nobody knows jack shit about Titanium?
Not much to say. OK girl rock band playing covers. Young poser tourists of both sexes bumping into you. Expensive drinks. I don't find myself returning often.
Head into the dingy dark of Washington Square, though, and you could get a sweet, accommodating girl. Drinks for both of you will be cheaper than you alone at Titanium. It's a place for old farts, too old for bullshit ;-)

Nice trip :-)

Fully agreed. It's possible to get 2k all in though (room, barfine, and girl), if you're lucky. At least this is what I got at Thigh Bar (Patpong), Long Gun (Cowboy) and Mercury (Nana, top of the escalator on the right) in the last few months. Haven't seen anyone special enough to make me want to drop more at the gogos.
I'd love to spend some money on the schoolgirl outfit dancers at Mandarin (the gogo upstairs from Mercury), but man those chicks are uncouth. It looks like the mamasan treats them like livestock (she literally yanked a skinny little thing off her perch and dragged her over to me by the arm while skinny was trying to regain her footing). Skinny didn't even look at me when she was installed next to me. They probably also drink too much (sucking at a bucket with a lot of straws). Race to the bottom.

Soi 36. They were about 30% or 40% cheaper at the beginning of the year, but they've been working on the place and the show seems to be better also.
Is it possible to spend say 6 days in Thailand and then do 5 in Laos and have it be worthwhile?

Yeah, should be fine. From Udon Thani you can get a car to the border for about 200 baht I think, or a ride to town and then a bus for a bit less, but more waiting. From the border at Vientiane, just look ahead and to the right to see the public bus for 5K kip to the morning market, or follow a tout for 300K.
The bus from Vientiane to Luang Prabang is pretty damn gruelling, about 10 or 12 hours, but it's absolutely spectacular. Well worth it. Go in a public bus from the Vientiane morning market along with the chickens and shit, because you can see out and there's good airflow. The "VIP" busses have curtains to block out the incredible mountain views, and the aircon isn't enough. There isn't masses of info about Laos on the board, but what there is checks out. It's not a major destination for girls, but interesting action can be had if you're adventurous. Speaking at least Thai helps.
