Pattaya Hotels

A group of friends, there's six of us, are going to Pattaya 2nd week of August. We would like to rent a villa/appartment with a private pool, can anyone help? Or is there a resort which would give us access to pool surrounded by just our six suites. can anyone please help?

The Residence Gardens has a small kitchen in the main room and the sleeping room is separate.

I have read lots of reviews about Sandy Spring hotel and whitehouse condetel and I keep reading bad and good. Can anyone else give me really good reviews like I dont want to get charged jioner fees and I want my stuff to be safe. Thanks for all the help guys. Also if anyone wants to know I have been to Pattaya 2 times last year and stayed at the Marriot and it was great but yes it is pricey.

I will stay there again. Clean, good quality room, good staff, and no problem (no charge) bringing up a girl to the room (although I only did on a couple occasions). I think you will feel safe and comfortable there, and they do have larger rooms and suites if thats your preference (I had a standard room for 1,250 baht).

I actually moved there from the Dynasty, where I had problems with malfunctioning AC (which they wouldn't do anything about) and bugs. After one night there I decided to check out and move next door to the White House where I was very happy.

I stayed at Sandy Springs about 3 years ago, so my review is obviously dated. But for what its worth, I remember Sandy Springs to be very good. All three hotels, btw, are in the same general price range for standard rooms (1,200 - 1,400 baht per night approx.).

Anyone tried Royal Benja hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 5?

Also I'm considering about Swiss Park hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 11

Are they both girlfriendly?

I have stayed at Royal Benja hotel few times. The hotel is very good with big rooms , big king beds and the service is excellent. The free breakfast is very good also.
My opinion about being GF is mixed. I have stayed there with my thai Gf and she checked in with me.
Few times I stayed there alone I booked online for two people. I got away with bringing the girl in saying each time I booked for two. The front desk clerk does not know how much I paid. Although the general rule is if you book for two the girl has to check in with you. I do not think the hotel is overly GF because lot of families stay there. i have seen many guys bringing girls in and checking at the front desk. I do not know whether they paid extra.
Another good thing with this hotel is they have only one type of rooms.

"Hotel has a good location, Room is spacious and clean, breakfast has a good choice. Major disadvantage is that (although travelling alone) I booked a room for two persons, but I was forced to pay 600 baht to bring in a visitor in the evening. Therefore, I won't stay in Royal Benja again."

Does anyone have any information about Hotel Beverly Plaza (59/35 Phratamnak Road). Also can someone recommend a hotel in Pattaya with in room safes. I appreciate any information.

Thats not good, looking on the pictures on website looks, like a very nice hotel and good location.

Keep your receipts and record of everything you sign in that hotel (LK Metropole). They also try to sneak a little extra into your bill when you pay with the card. Overall, high end rooms are nice. Service in the coffee shop is lousy. Lots of entertainment in the immediate vicinity. WS is not that close so wear comfortable shoes. Marriott is in a good location, great common areas, pool etc. but their rooms are depressing. The bathroom was the size of something out of Motel 6. Very overpriced for what you get. You can get a much nicer room for much less in Pataya.

Please advise on a nice ~$100 USD Hotel near to the beach and to the actions in Pattaya. Thanks for your help.
