I finally, after 3 years, got to visit Davao on business. I have to say that I am very impressed with the city. I stayed at the Marco Polo, club level, and it is a very nice hotel.

My host took me to Jack's Ridge for dinner and it was a nice place to eat and overlook the city. After dinner we went to Korokkan KTV. There is no carry out, but the girls can go after their duty at 2 am. There was three guys and five girls and we stayed over 2 hours and the cost was 4100P. I was lucky, one cute spinner wanted to come to my hotel.

Next night I met up with GE and had dinner at Henny's place De Bonte Koe. Great dinner and conversation.

Living and working in Zamboanga, it was great to visit Davao and not have to worry about being out at night.

Overall I found Davao to be a great city and I will return.

Every time I get a little down with too much work, too many deadlines and too much pressure, it seems that I take a step back and remind myself that I'm lucky to have a great job; lucky to be living here wth a woman half my age and, in comparison with what's going on around the world, just fortunate, particularly at my age, to be doing what I'm doing.

As to a new place to hang out DS, the next time you're here we need to check out Aquarium, up Laurel near Nueva Terra. My friend here says it's excellent and attracts all kinds of ladies: GROs, pros, semi-pros, non-pros and even couples. It's also got live music, which is nice. My brief tenure of existence on this earth has led me to believe that "good business sense, including a lot of common sense, is what is needed to be successful as a Business Owner. Know just too many successful people with limited education to believe anything else.
