Thoughts on Nic and even SPI
Meatloaf,
Thanks for the props, I try to help where I can, due to a factory work schedule and being tired I do not get around as much as you do and I also have to be somewhat careful as Managua is a huge Peyton Place.
I am not sure of your age, but if you are under 50 and can get out and around to some of the more upscale places and put your time in you will meet some interesting women. Will all of them be Non-Pro "Keepers", no and maybe none of them will. If you monger be sure to not let them get a hint of that as in the upper classes they are very sensitive about being characterized as a sugar baby. But, if you play your cards right, and this has been my experience, you can find a few that appreciate you enough as an individual and person that they won't try to suck the Cordoba life blood out of you. They actually take a lot of pride on not being able to be "bought".
An attorney friend of mine here runs with a group of divorced/still single/single mothers of about 5-7 women. They are all pretty cool, a few are good lookers and interesting. They will surely do you and are standoffish about relationships as I think they are financially secure enough to figure "what the hell, I have come this far without a man truly helping that I might as well keep going". Now, they will not jump at grabbing the check at a dinner and if you are out for drinks they will surely order an import instead of Flor de Cana and send the bill to you. But overall they are not much worse than single mothers in the US, and they are much more easy to deal with as they have an army of maids to help them.
But, they will also ask you over for a really good meal and will pay for the wine and drinks. They will help you with errands and getting to know people and do quite a few other little things that while they do not have a big $ value do have quite a bit of life improvement value. Hence they give what they can. Due to the shadow of the 80's, especially women, are very careful about what they spend money on and on how the future looks. Right now people are plenty, plenty scared about the political situation. Even my Sandinista Military landlords have somewhat of a pucker factor, they are not thrilled with the political situation at the top by any means.
What I have figured out with the Nica's is that I don't let them "nickel and dime" me to death. I would rather pay for a decent meal at a moderately priced resturant and have them invite a few people they will get points for feeding (sisters, mother, father, children) and have it be one larger bill than have them make me go to the supermarket on my way to their place, have me take them to Metrocentro or Gallerias, pick up some beer, etc, etc. In essense I do not put myself in a position to be in a place with them where they can start possibly getting me to buy them things. The Gringo Gentleman in me takes over during these times even if they do not ask for something I find myself volunteering, so I just avoid the temptation.
Sometimes I take them out with me to the Casino and I tell them that if I win I will give them some and if I lose they get squat. At least when I take them to the casino they get free drinks and I give them $30, $40 and up to $50 to play and I can monitor them playing and I would say about 60% of the time we come out ahead and I end up putting $20 to $50 in their pockets and am out nothing on drinks. They like that, it makes them feel like a big wheel as they don't have the money to go to a casino on their own.
In terms of South Padre Island, when I was young and strong and had hair I did chase a lot of skirt on SPI. In the mid 90's when the Mexican economy recovered it became a great place, and still is, to meed Mexican chicks with visas. They love going over for the day and if they find out you have a place there, which can become a crash pad for them and their female friends you can get covered up with Mexican pussy from Matamoros.

Managua Mongering Hall of Fame: DrDewman is Inducted
Managua Mongering Hall of Fame: DrDewman is Inducted
Sometimes those that speak less carry more of a punch and "DrDewman" is such an individual!
DrDewman knows more Chicas Nicas than I.
DrDewman derobes more Chicas Nicas than I.
DrDewman spends more on Chicas Nicas than I.
DrDewman has more "proof" of success than I.
DrDewman takes mongering more serious than I.
DrDewman has more years of experience than I.
DrDewman has earned the privledge of being inducted into the Managua Mongering Hall of Fame and is a verified "superstar."
Despite his inability to speak Spanish, DrDewman scores with the wh*res. DrDewman's techniques have proven to be fail-proof. He may not know the rules of the game, like Donovan McNabb, but DrDewman scores more touchdowns than I, Meat Loaf, have ever experienced.
Congratulations on your induction DrDewman and may you enjoy the fruits of your "hobby."
Managua Mongering Hall of Fame: DrDewman is Inducted
What an honor to be in the Hall of Fame for Nicaragua.
I take it you enjoyed the pictures I sent you and yes, I do want to post some of those on the site.
After 3 days in Costa Rica those trips are getting shorter and shorter, I will arrive in Managua on Feb. 2nd and spend a whole week there and enjoy and try to stimulate the economy there in Managua and Chinandega this trip.
If anyone else is going to be around that week just let me know by PM and maybe we can met up and hit some of the spots.
thanks Meat Loaf, I do plan to see you very soon.

Say It Aint So, Meat Loaf
i thought that i'd share the prices of various vices in nicaragua. this information can be used for your general knowledge as you calculate your possible exposure for satifying such vices. these quotes are strictly informative and are "common knowledge."
cigarettes: 1 pack of 20 is c$ 22; us $1.05; (british american tobacco products)
beer: 1 liter is c$ 28; us $1.40; (tona, victoria, brava); the price of beer at the neighborhood store or at the bar / nightclub / brothel is the same.
if you're gonna' drink beer you might as well drink at the brothel.
rum: ½ liter is c$ 50; us $2.50; (flor de cana); this is the price at the neighborhood store. the price at the bar / nightclub / brothel is c$ 150; us $7.50.
marijuana: 1 pound is us $120; 1 cigarette (tila) is c$ 10; us $0.50
cocaine: 1 kilo is us $5,000; 1 tila (bump) is c$10; us 0.50
precriptions: there is a plethora of over-the-counter medicines that within the usa require doctore prescription.
crack: 1 rock (piedra) is c $10; us $0.50
prostitutes: 30-minute session is c$ 150; us $7.50
as they say in nicaragua, "¿qué más quiere?" (what more do you want?)
obviously, us $1,000 per month in spending / entertainment goes far!
a monger can go to various puteras (stores offering retail / walk-in prostitution) anyday of the week and purchase a prostitute? "i can purchase a new, different, "fresh" piece of p*ssy everyday for us $7.50?" "30 days equals approximately us $220?" that's cheaper than the car note you're barely fulfilling in your attempt to impress woman so you can date them in search of p*ssy. whereas, meat loaf or anyone can walk into a putera and purchase a piece of p*ssy for us $7.50, and go back home to watch sportscenter, in english, after a long day's work.
my fault!
there are no jobs in nicaragua, including no jobs for you. where are you gong to work so that you may survive? food, clothing, shelter; and hopefully entertainment, health, education, and travel as luxuries. therefore, you cann't live here and benefit!
only those individuals that can satisfy a us $60,000 cost of living can benefit. sorry.
in the course of a year, 365 days, a monger could purchase 365 different p*ssies everday after work. total monthly expense us $220.
say it aint so, meat loaf?
"it's so!"
okay, so now you're thinking to yourself that you can at least expereince nicaragua on vacation. wow, 7 days of vacation. wow, sign me up. joke, joke.
7 days versus 365 days. you can't even get your d*ck wet properly in 7 days. lets so you do vacation here and monger with 7 girls over the 7 days, then return to home your home country and job. that's where your job is to survive: that's the only way you can survive is to "slave" at the job for survival with luxuries. you can't meet the us $60,000 cost of living to experience the 365 different p*ssies! there's nothing wrong wit that. i'm simply informing you of the daily life available- 365 different p*ssies- if you could satisfy us $60,000 per year cost of living. and i'm not "bragging" or saying that us $60,000 is a lot or even required, but security concerns are real and mandatory for survival / cost of living in nicarauga with us $60,000. you could actually survive in nicaragua for approximately us $1,000 sin procupes. rent, it, food, daily mongering, entertainment, etcetera.
meat loaf has given away the store: meat loaf has revealed all about managua. do i work for the nicaraguan board of tourism? no, but the "bullsh*t" of nicaragua which makes / creates this environment will mentally defeat you! the "ghetto" will overwhelm you. "ghetto?" there are nice places in nicaragua to live, yes, but your neighbors are not at your level. your neighbors are not at your level even for us $1,000.
in nicaragua, to experience daily mongering- 365 "fresh" p*ssies per year- you will be surrounded, bombarded, drowned by people who are not at your us $1,000 level. who will you talk to the other 23.5 hours per day?
it is that stament above that will defeat and prevent you from relocating.
sure, you may visit for 7 days, but you can't do 365 "fresh p*ssies per year.
some men can!
a man must be a dedicated monger to torture yourself in this location!
retirement? extended vacation? business expansion? sure, that may a "reason" to attempt the relocation / experience, but not possible!
retirement: who will you talk to that is in your peer group? i sure hope that you can speak spanish already: without the ability to speak spanish, your possibility of meeting someone in your peer group is severly low and limited. how much will your cost of living be? us $1,000? us $3,000? us $5,000 per month? and we still need to discuss how the "ghetto will take you over."
extended vacation? ok. revolving visits, stay, etcetera is a viable option. 3-month, 6-month tours is appropriate. this is what "xdred" is doing and he's reaping all of the rewards and benefits of a daily resident, with years of residency. i meat loaf am the latter.
business expansion: don't waste your time or money! there is a reason this country, nicaragua, has no economy. only haiti is worse! don't try and re-invent the wheel: go to costa rica, panama, mexico, etcetera. a country will infrustructure and an economy. it's too hard to conduct business when there is nobody else to conduct business. it takes too people to make a business transaction and the other person is absent! you're present, but they are nowhere to be found. where are they? they and the rest of world are not here. this is not a country where people conduct business. in nicaragua, people survive!
therefore, don't waste your time trying to "pull the sleigh" like a huskie in alaska. if you do try, what's your ror (rate of return?) investments like the new us $4 million call center from texas is one; or the denim plant from south carolina that investment us $100 million is another. or do you want something smaller?
in conclusion, if one wanted to experience all that has been written in meat loaf posts, i suggest the 3-month tours.
